Why haven't more people seen this movie? How do we promote it?? I feel like white people on the fence would be riveted by it and feel a sense of kinship with Douglas' character. I live in LA — it's hard to deny things have become this shitty.

That was the entire point. Joel Schumacher (a jew) intended the character to be a characterization/caricature of the angry white male. Unfortunately he made the character and the situations a little bit too relate-able.

Directed by Joel Schumacher: Gay Jew.
Main lead Douglas is a Jew.
Robert Duvall is from a naval intelligence family, as are many of the people involved in Holyweird from the 60s, including L Ron Hubbard, Jim Morrison of the Doors and Timothy Leary's LSD cook.

I saw it in the original release and hated it. At the time I was into anything with guns and explosions, so this should have been great.

The white man (D Fens) is an unemployed failure, living in his mom's basement. The society his people created has been taken over by niggers, spics and Asians. He has no place in it. The law has destroyed his family and he does not get to raise his kid. He flips into a racist, hate filled killer.
The 2nd white man is a Nazi that D Fens kills.
The 1st White woman (Duvall's wife) is a failure with a dead daughter. The 2nd is D Fens, keeping him from his kid.
D Fens commits suicide by cop, the cop (Duvall) being the third white man.
The End.

"To me, even though the movie deals with complicated urban issues, it really is just about one basic thing: The main character represents the old power structure of the U.S. that has now become archaic, and hopelessly lost. And that way, I guess you could say D-FENS is like Los Angeles. For both of them, it's adjust-or-die time.
