For how much money is being made by it, for how beloved it is, for how powerful it is, It looks inexcusably fucking bad, it's written worse, and the action scenes are some of the worst action scenes in modern anime.
The only excuse for this is cheapness or them skimming off of the top while limping to the barn in terms of EVERYTHING.
