Will this manga ever be finished? Will Togashi rush the rest of the manga or will he actually buckle down and complete it assuming he doesn't pass over, heaven forbid that happens. I assume the manga is only 60% done.

No seriously what the fuck is the central plot of this series.

There are still too many plot points to resolve, and Togashi suddendly decided to expand hxh's world exponentially by including the Dark Continent, and takes his time in the Succession Arc. Overall the manga is not even halfway done.

I'd say Togashi intends to finish his work, and will likely hire assistants to help him in the future.

There are only 2 ways for Berserk and HxH to end:

>super rushed "open ending" that resolves nothing and is basically a TO BE CONTINUED that will never be continued
>author dies and the last chapter is just some random one in the middle of a story arc

It's honestly not even halfway done OP. It probably will get finished once Togashi realizes he needs assistants to help him. Ever since he expanded his world with the current arc he only has more story to work with.

I truly believe it will, however its becoming apparent he's condensing a lot of story to get it to the finish line.

Keep him scripting and doing rough storyboards but its not getting done with him as the solo creator anymore

It only feels like he's rushing the Phantom Troupe because he's focusing on other plot points now. My guess is he'll kill off the whole troupe within the next 2 years.

That's my point. He wants to move on with the story but because he's delayed the series for so long he has to quickly brush them aside, instead of taking care of them properly as was clearly the original intent

I hope he doesn't fuck up the Ryodan plot line. I've been waiting for it forever.

He's too prideful, he'll never do it. He'd rasther stay unhealthy and draw simplistic art and paragraphs of text while having to redraw his shitty art than receive help from anyone. Like a few anons in here have said, it's only a matter of time before he gives up and hires assistants to help him continue the manga.

Sometimes I fantasize about Togashi giving a script to Murata to finish HxH when he's done with OPM.
