Don't get me wrong, Maison's story is just like the story of me and my wife, we love it and laugh at it, it was a surprise to see it here
Nah
Why did Godai reject a qt highschooler who wants to marry him for an old hag?
Loved this show. Really fun and heartwarming

Fuck whoever said this show is good.
I just watched it for the first time last week and it was good, occasionally great.
Not that guy's fault you're too stupid to appreciate good romance.
Haters gonna hate.
Yeah because 100 episodes of MISUNDERSTANDINGS, the same annoying side characters being drunk and annoying every single episode, and Godai being a fucktard is good romance.
Godai's transition into maturity over the series is well done, though.
The show does lean on misunderstandings way too much but the serious romantic episodes are some of the best anime I've ever seen
She was the worst. If i would have been godai i would have chose Kozue
It was frustarating but those last 5 episodes were 10/10
I think it's not worth going hrough all that bullshit just for those decent moments. There's a limit to how much you can get blue balled before you want to punch he author in the face.
How can one show have so many top tier OPs and EDs?

>kozue
But she caused nothing but unnecessary problems towards the end through her own sheer retardation.
I enjoyed most of the show, even the random SoL episodes were way above average. The lowpoints were when the misunderstandings got played for serious drama, which wasn't that often
You missed the best one youtube.com
One thing you have to appreciate about the show is how much of an effort they put into the setting and the atmosphere. The way characters dress and behave was incredibly indicative of 1980s Japan and does an excellent job at immersing the viewer.
Also some of the side characters are really underrated. Godai's Grandma has to be one of the most lovable old characters in anime.
What a charming episode.

Kyoko-san in 1080p!
Why would you download that?
80s anime soundtracks just has something that modern anime has lost
Well she had her flaws but damn i feeled bad for her when Godai rejected her.
>Godai rejected her
What? That never happened. She literally accepted another man's proposal while they were technically still going out.
Urusei Yatsura had a prime soundtrack too.
What is it about early Rumiko shows having such great music and art direction?
