She is nice. Not like the useless generic one but there is actual story and development going on with her.

I think the current pace is fine. It makes me care more about the characters than the atrocious pacing of the manga.

The main character is a false-underdog like Touma from Index.

Asta is supposed to viewed as somebody who through "hardwork and guts!" overcomes the oppressive status qou of his world.

He'd actually be that if he didn't posses the perfect counter-measure for the power system of his world.

But he is doing hardwork though. Asta is the second most muscular guy in the series and his physical strength makes for possible for him to fight endlessly.
Other mages use mana skin to enhance their physical strength.
If he doesn't have to sword, do you think he will just battle magic with gears and stuffs? Asta isn't a rich person like Batman and neither did he receive a proper education.

the broad anti magic sword is extremely heavy to be used a normal sword.

also ALL other magic user use magic to boost their physical power. Asta own strength stats out class most of em

raw power wise the only one shown so far that could beat Asta are Yami and Meleone

This episode was great. Best episode in the series thus far. Also i'm so happy to finally see dem Bulls. I love everyone of them.

This may have been asked a million times already but what the fuck is up with those lines between the chin/neck area in the anime? I understand that it's supposed to be shading and it works in the managa as most shadows seem to be done that way but it looks really fucking shitty in the anime considering there are "normal" shadows too.
