It's an uneducated guess, but I'd say you're right. When you adapt something like a manga or a light novel, there is usually only one or two guys behind it at worst, and thus it's easier to have a unified, coherent vision of what they want to do it, they might have to fight with their editor once in a while, but that's it. Meanwhile original production can have a shitload of writters involved, each with their own vision of what the story should be.

Except for the last two episodes which built up a lot for such a flacid climax. Here's hoping sales gets them to make a season 2 if Actas doesn't become Bandai Visual's sweatshop for the mass production of GuP goods until they go bankrupt.

Trigger and Khara are actually almost literally across the street from each-other. They constantly go back and forth between HQs, freely exchange ideas, and even occasionally devote time and energy to each-other's projects. It's at the point where the staff sometimes forget that they're two separate studios.

I 100% agree with this, BUT the fact that all the girls came out alright and clearly set up more adventures/a S2 made me at least content with the ending we got. I'm just really curious/worried about how they'll handle the season 2's structure.

Went to a convention recently and saw a panel with Kobayashi from Khara and Wakabayashi/Koyama from Trigger. Someone asked them if they ever planned on re-merging, and they said they're pretty much merged already.

So how does this Collab work? Is there more A1 staff than Trigger Staff? Do they have one director from each studio or what.

I don't trust A1 at all, They've gone down in the past 5 years.

I feel that Shiori did that animated Diana sidequest for the game just so she could get it all out of her system before being in darlifran. But I still think she's going to be LWA's Sushio regardless of her art change (or at least I hope so).
