if yugi was "one with the heart of the cards" why didn't he just pull full exodia at the start of every duel?

He had to say goodbye to his Exodia cards.
Because he loses Exodia three episodes in.
Because that would ruin the "suspense" of the show retard.
gotta be subtle about his cheating
That was before they decided it was okay for characters to make up cards on the spot
my cards!
he could if Weevil didn't throw them away
Real question is: why didn't he just buy new Exodia cards?
I mean they're not rare
There’s actually only 1 set. The one used in Battle City is fake card like Odion’s Ra
Where would be the fun in that?
If rare cards are also the best cards then isnt that really unfair for most people?
Imagine wanting to be the best but still using beaver warrior be/c all the good cards are either very rare or very expensive...
In the anime every card can be good. No matter how dumb your strategy would be in the real game, it can work in the anime.
but isnt that because of main character status, and plot armor?
irl joey, kaiba, and yami would suffer dead draws...
>but isnt that because of main character status, and plot armor?
No. Even though the MC of a Yu-Gi-Oh series will win almost every time, the opponent will always drive them into a corner before a turnabout. That means their dumbass strategy is also viable, it's just that the MC is better.
yeah, but that is also be/c of plot induced stupidty
people who are really good at the game in real life use decks with high level of synergy and random cards arent ever part of their decks.
Pretty much, I think Bakura's deck is actually the most IRL viable
His deck when he duels yugi at the last arc displays good strategy.
I have no idea why you're talking about real life.
wonder why Kaiba didn't take it when he had the chance?
I recall him being mind broken when Yugi first used it, then when he came back, it was already thrown into the ocean.
...
Because he doesn't have the heart of the cards. He said himself that no one has ever been able to summon him before. I don't blame him. In a game where everyone has 2000 LP and you can normal summon multiple Blue Eyes at once, I really don't see how anyone could statistically hope to draw through their 40 card deck before they got wiped out.
His PURAIDO has no need for things like Exodia.
TCG rule #1: you put your cheeto stained sausage fingers in my cards, you lose your fingers.
I PLAY POT OF GREED, THIS CARD ALLOWS ME TO INSTANTLY WIN
Because Heart of the Cards is a dub only thing
I really really love this video
