The "hard work vs talent" premise is stale and meaningless. You can't choose to be talented or not. But you can choose to have fun, which makes "hard work vs fun" the inherently superior premise.

How about anime that do both of those?

ace a shit

...

Talent can make you work LESS hard or hit eventual walls later demotivating more than had you hit difficulties at an earlier phase (with everyone else).

Thats an interesting idea op, I highly value fun over talent and hardwork.

The hard work vs talent argument is dumb because the best sportsmen are always a combination of both.

People who try to make the argument are greatly ignorant on just how much work those top sportsmen put in to get where they were, sure they had talent, but they still had to constantly push themselves beyond their limits and make great sacrifices, why else do you think that their bodies start breaking down after a certain point?

Hardwork or talent alone won't carry you to the top, you need both to even have have a chance of making it.

I want to see dog cry in despair as she begins to hate Table Tennis.

I haven't really seen any anime aside from Ping Pong that understand this

t. neither talent nor hard work trying to rationalize his failure

She has fun, hard work and talent. Good luck, you'll need it.

Ace has talent and hard work. Bear was a genius and lost, then worked hard and will lose again.

>Bear plays ping pong on top of piano ventriloquism swimming violin and other shit to please her psycho mom
>Ace plays ping pong everyday and wants to become number 1
It's not hard work but competitive vs casual play.
Bear bullying Ace is hard work and talent vs hard work and talent.
Ace pulling 100% Agari is when you add friendship to one side and schizophrenia to the other.

BING

I was referring to Yuasa's Ping Pong

>Doesnt have talent to land a well paying job
>Doesnt wanna work hard either

Have fun starving

>not living off state pension until depression and a failed suicide attempt makes you realize you have to push yourself

there is no such thing as talent. Just sets of predispositions

This. People think that the best athletes are just talented and doesn't realize that the best have dedicated 90% of their life into their sport to be great.

Posting ACE with my friends.

>doesn't post ace
No talent.

ACE is the correct way to spell it.

>hard work vs talent
Pleb, outdated views

>hard work vs fun
Interesting

>hard work = fun
Enlightened

>Bear stops pianoventriloquism swimming violin to be at ACE's level.

More like surpACEd, right?

You're wrong.

More like nACE body.

>at ACE's level
A mere Bearrier was enough to take care of jobbers like ACE.

Ace has nice breasts

>brACEsts vs ass

Can I ACE you a question? Did you reACEd the last chapter where ACE kills the Bearrier and BeARROW?

>kills
She powered them with tanoshii. True Bearrierow soon.

Just try calling Hanabi a jobber one more time.

Thought this was about anime premises

This

>Oreki
>having fun
Did I miss an episode?

>Males

Well I mean when she's curious, how can you not be amused?

I can confirm this is accurate in most domains except speedrunning
fuck speedrunning and the subhumans who do it

so we are only talking about talent, not porn?
Fuck this thread

Ace has more talent as a JAV actress than as a table tennis player

Porn is a skill too, and ACE is very talented.

>when you sauce on your own and get it right

>when you sauce
ftfy

>Ace

I'm going to work hard so I can have fun at Nationals.

ACE

It certainly could happen, but I don't think it will.

She just needs to try a new sport.

Where accomplishment = f(x), hard work = x, and talent = a

f(x) = a*x

No amount of talent makes up for laziness, and an absurd amount of hard work can make up for a lack of talent.

>hard work can make up for lack of talent but talent can't make up for lack of hard work
That's not a linear function.

The name Bearrow is cute because ACE is an arrow and Kumami is a bear

how did I even miss that

BONG

Asano blog update:
>これからの展開があがり紅真深戦で一番描きたかった部分のような気がする
>The upcoming developments in the match are the parts I most wanted to draw.

In other words everything was a setup for this. The ride truly never ends.

GET BACK ON THE BOAT AGARI-CHAN

>the parts I most wanted to draw.
ACE and Kumami having sex?

Why can't hard work be fun?

There's nothing inherently wrong with speedrunning. I'm not talking about its "community", but the idea of knowing a game so well and completing it skillfully at that is absolutely fine. I used to do it as a child before knowing what speedrunning was.

That's for the cover of volume 6. He's keeping it hidden for a reason.

It can be, that's often what "hard work vs fun" stories go for.

>I wanted to depict ACE losing to Kumami but needed a way to extend the scene and fit in even more sweat and nudity than should even be physically possible in the confines of this literary medium. I wanted to put both John Woo and Hugh Hefner to shame.

The absolute madman.

>John Woo
Who?

How can it go up from here?

If I was speculating I would say the rest of the match is going to be a battle of willpower rather than about pulling out cool new techniques.

I can see that. It wouldn't be the first time.

He obviously wanted to draw Ace winning on screen instead of having her destroying everyone off screen and for that he had to make someone strong enough to be a believably tense match.

I just realized that after this match ends the manga will be over 30 chapters without Ace winning on screen

I wish this didn't have the CG motion blur.

It's unfortunate but their camera technology isn't advanced enough to properly capture the 100% Agari.

>implying Kururi wouldn't solo Tsubame
>including the doubles match

...

...

>work vs fun
So Keion?

Talent doesn't exist, it's an excuse of the weak

Glad this cunt Azusa got converted fast

That's what losers say to delude themselves they could have been better than the winners if they tried harder.

Talent exists but your post doesn't make sense. Losers seeking reassurance would say they never had a chance in the first place and did everything they could instead of thinking they fucked their opportunities so they don't have to own up to their mistakes.

...

why are they all so mean

It doesn't make sense if you're narrow-minded. Losers will make up any excuse for why they lose. One is that they didn't do everything they could/put in enough effort and since no one could possibly be better than them at anything, it's only a matter of effort.

Thus you have a lot of "lazy geniuses" and such mediocrities deluded about their own abilities and making excuses for why they're not big shots.

They know she's the best, it's only natural for prey to fear their hunter.

Thanks for the rare scorps.

I want to see the dog cry in despair as she watches A-chan having more fun playing Kumami than her.

Spooky Scorp.

Aharen-san wa Hakarenai

Hard work vs Wanting to have sex is also an interesting premise.

She's having so much fun she didn't leave the table for 14 chapters.

Supportive Scorp.

Will future generations accidentally find these threads and ponder the meaning of ACEposting?

No, because ace and bear will still be playing then.

...

More like the results of hard work are very fun, but the process is mostly awful with only a handful of fun

Is this what you see after winning the Nationals?

Hard work can be incredibly satisfying in itself just for the sake of the hardship. Workalcoholics exist for a reason after all.

Did they not release bluray or did no one buy it?

They'll keep playing the same match as the world changes and someone invents the Wired. Then it'll be revealed this was all a prequel to Serial Experiment Lain.

People didn't rip them afaik. Also the BD subs are apparently more accurate than HS but that's a given.

>sweaty tits on the cover
Nice.

Say why can't we have nice BD's in general?

To avoid destroying the Japanese BD-market?

No, in the future everybody will be an ACEfag.
