Bnha spoilers are out
RIP in piece
rate the arc
solid 7
could have been much better, but wasn't as bad as people say. the major problem with the arc was Hori's health, causing numerous delays, unfinished panels, and smaller chapters
5/10
The fact that it’s over now makes me more excited than most of what happened during the arc
I give it an 8 in manga form , i'm sure the anime will fix the pacing problem and make it a 10/10 arc
3/10
shit taste
It feels off when they introduce new characters, hope we give a shit about them in a couple of chapters and then kill/incapacitate them with the hopes of the readers to feel empathy. 5/10
The fact that Nighteye survived still annoys me
Overall, it's a weak arc.
The Mirio and Kirishima parts were the strongest. The final fight, however, is way weak, both because Deku keeps coming across as incompetent with his power and because the loli's power is stupid.
5/10
Expected more from Chisaki. He started as a cool mafia boss villain.
>Spoilers are out
>Nobody gives a shit
What killed the hype?
well to be fair sir, mirio, and suneater have had more screen-time than alot of class 1a and all of class 1b
t. Hori's dick sucker
Last Deku fight is terrible.
>I will just punch him stronger
I thought people said he couldn't die
Same asshole as last thread
>Kirishima parts
>Strongest
Dabi is a prettyboy even with the fucked skin
But he's alive.
And he isn't dead yet. Your point?
No , no I hated the last arc but this one was better with all the league character development and all the fights
7/10
Going to drop to a 2 when it turns out all that happened was for nothing after Eri gets kidnapped
How many chapters max til Mirio gets his quirk back?
I'd say 5
Eri
Looks dead to me
Garbage/10.
Based "What killed the hype?"-poster.
Kirishima was the weakest point of this Arc, his fight ruin the pacing overall
And I gave it a 3/10 for "MUH CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT".
People got bored
7.5/10 or 8/10
Nejire did fuck all/10.
7 and a half/10. Great character moments, and great new-ish characters at that. I personally don't think the pacing is "bad", it's just not the regular MHA pacing. If there's something I didn't like that'd be the latter fights and the usual "I'm sorry Ochako/Tsuyu/Rest of the class, you could be relevant right now, but you're background characters". Highlights of the arc for me are Mirio and Deku's shared impotence, shy Sasuke's fight, Kirishima+Fatgum vs Rappa and the other dude, and Togice.
2/10
the pacing was awful
I'm actually kinda more excited about BnHA now that this arc is over with.
>female characters
>doing shit in shonen
I told you niggas only mirio and suneater would actually do shit.
Went on too long
Shouldn't have been in a building
Plague mask ended up being another MUH EBUL FAKE HEROES fag instead of just a evil prick who wanted money and power at any cost.
Still annoyed that the students don't use personalized UA jumpsuits as costumes.
Just wanted a big flashy, clever knock down drag out good vs evil fight with no attempts at grey bull.
Ah well.
Keikaku Doori Shigaraki
Compress got a new mask?
5/10. Boring but competent. Wish Chisaki hadn't jobbed.
There was literally no point in the females being there. It wouldn't have changed much at all.
>There was literally no point in the females being there.
That is shonen alright.
Could have had the destruction growing beyond the yakuza compound and had uravity and froppy evacuate civilians and keep the building from falling onto everyone's heads.
Remember when people thought Ochako would actually do something this arc? Good times...
rest in shit, idiot
>Ochako
who?
Ochako needed to be there so Toga would have someone she could disguise as that Deku would listen to. Literally the entire reason that whole team was around.
It's funny since they were saying she was going to beat toga and in the end toga did more to help the heroes then ochako
2/10
overhaul was a terrible antagonist with idiotic motivations and powers, kirishima's flashback was shit, some stuff felt super poorly implemented and awkward like the girls role or toga and twice, suneater is a bitch and deku devolved into the typical l'll twistfate!!! yelling sperg shonen protag with a ridiculously anticlimatic final fight where any progress he might have made was pointless
l don't see the series coming back, it's the beginning of the end even naruto's golden age lasted longer
They could have used any other hero to be tricked by toga
They shouldn't have bothered to bring them. I'd have preferred to have no females in this raid then to "pretend" they're doing something useful when they're not.
>Naruto's golden age
It ended on the 4th volume.
Horrible.
shit pacing and an abrupt ending. However, I'm pleased that the drama around who processes OfA is all but over. I was afraid that was going to be a thing for a while. And seeing Deku punch everything till it was right was fun.
5/10.
4/10. It sucked and was riddled with problems, but was still readable. This is assuming we get a return to more or less the status quo and Eri fucks off forever
>Suneater was a bitch
Shit taste
8/10 it was fun, except those fucking flashback chapters
their role was be part of the ceiling crash deus ex machina that interrupted the fight
so, what happened?
fuck all
Translation of second leaked page:
>Shigaraki: "Shogi", huh? So basically, if I take the king, it's all good?
Dabi: It's not that simple, you know
Other dude whose name I forgot: Yep, just like you said, they (toga and twice) understood what you meant. Yup yup, thanks you two!
Caption: It's not over yet!!?
They are going for Chisaki or the yakuza boss
It's 6.5/10.
Pros:
>Rappa
>Eri memes
>Toga and Twice
>Vault boy
>No Bakushit and Todojobber
Cons
>After an impressive debut, Overhaul just didn't lived on the hype
>All of his goons except Rappa and maybe Nemoto
>All girls did absolutely nothing
>Kirishima's performance, which consisted on jobbing, flashback then getting up only to job again
>Too long
Or eri.
Or a combination of the three.
some overwrought drama that punching a few things fixed
>Shigaraki: "Shogi", huh? So basically, if I take the king, it's all good?
He's becoming kinda cool, isn't he?
+ Eri a cute
+ Rappa vs Fats and yaoibait
+ Mirio's facial expressions
Everything else is a minus though. The bad guy sucks.
He'll be cool the moment he actually succeeds at something.
>Shigaraki: "Shogi", huh? So basically, if I take the king, it's all good?
Kirishima is freaking boring. His whole backstory with Mina and his the "manly" shit is retarded as fuck. He's the kind of person in IRL you loved to see get beat up. Little red bitch
Just tired
grapefag tactic of spamming 5-10 threads per minutes, with so much mod approval I'm suspecting him to be one, or at least a mod's girlfriend. Same with that "drawfag" that has the talent of a 10 year old and can fill a full thread picture limit in 20 minutes of shitposting.
nobody wants to post anymore thanks to those 2 mod approved faggots
Hxh ripoff
I like Kirishima but I was disappointed that so much time was spent on him. They could have gotten the flashback and everything done whe he was out on the job with Tamaki.
The treatment of the girls is the most embarrassing like what the fuck it felt like someone held a knife to Hori's neck and told him to resolve their situation as fast as possible.
No the villain alliance, especially Shigaraki will never get rid of how boring and lame they are
Which drawfag?
It's garbage. I don't actually meant to use such a strong word but it is the only one that conveys my feelings towards this arc. It was lukewarm, boring. I swear to God if Nighteye isn't fucking dead...
So you want it to be dragged for even more?
Eri would be the king in this situation since that was the thing they were both trying to caputure.
6.5/10.
Thematically, it was nice. However, it didn't have Hori's usual direct/objetive approach, which made it longer than it could've been.
Some nice introductions and developments, especially for the VA, but also mostly them and the new kids. It's cliche structured fights, and the raid overall, were done in a really poor way, with the sense of urgency been lost not long after it, thanks to literal time wasters characters.
It's conclusion came as a sigh of relief, but not without its sins.
I hate to say it but even though bc sucks, the author is better at writing females
5/10
It dragged a lot and too many flashbacks
Hori should just stick to his fast paced style
Wow nothing happened
Forgettable/10
Into the fucking trash it goes.
Also, i can only hope for Nighteye, Eri and Chisaki to vanish from the face of the multiverse. God, they're all around terrible.
Also, how is Shigaraki considered intelligent, interesting or likable? His plans aren't his, his quirk is strong but his weak as shit without, acts like a dumbass 24/7 (Bakugou proved this to me when Shigaraki untied him), he's very predictable.
The problem with Kirishima is he's dull as dirt, can't fight in an interesting way, and his big starring moment was in front of Fatgum, who we don't know and have no reason to give a shit about. If his big spotlight moment came in front of some of his classmates, it could have built chemistry there. Instead, he just impressed some pro we might not even see after this.
So he defeated Chisaki with this punch last chapter? Shit arc. Why stall so long for this fight and then make it suck ass, what the heck.
7/10
most people are mad about it because their main fujoshit bait isn't there
Why is this series so much better and all around more comfy and grounded feeling while actually still having the wacky powers and world building which the main series fails at? Also pop step is a slut
You can't deny he makes the story better.
But maybe we'll get something similar to the last time we had a shitty arc and it is followed by a big character moment for best boy.
Villains? Where is our girl Toga?
Because it has no plot. Its just comfy and world building. You don't really care about anything because you know the important stuff will happen in the main series.
Changing her pants after seeing 100% ofa Deku
Dragonball rip off
Just fucking wait
2/10 I hate jobber villains
If todoroki and bakugou were in this arc, how different would things be?
Better late than never. And Mirio had already stolen Deku's thunder from the next 100 years, so of course it would suck. The ones who liked this are the 'muh Madmeme' fags.
He probably realised that he dragged on the last fight too much, and decided to cut it short. Think about it:
>multiple chapters of Mirio vs Overhaul
>Nighteye and company arrive
>multiple chapters of Nighteye/Deku vs Overhaul before the girls show up again
>brief intermission with the girls, Deku powers up and they get out of the underground
It wasn't that long, but it really felt like it.
