TWP at this point is completely done with, but a lot of people are bitter about it, and they're starting to attack people like Anglin and Azzmador for cucking because they disagreed on the optics issue.

On the most recent altright politics podcast, Richard and Greg had plenty of very positive things to say about TWP, as well as some fair criticisms.
The fact that TWP actually gave a shit about outreaching to poor whites and actually were man enough to get out there and face the adversary straight was a big plus to them. They went on about how they were dependable and disciplined when it mattered (like when facing commies in the streets). They went on about how any movement needs soldiers and shitting on soldiers for being soldiers is nonsense.
In fact they shat on middle-class whites as being objectively worse in that their contribution to the movement was basically lacking. Middle-class whites lack the education and academic prowess to contribute to the intellectual wing in any meaningful way, and they lack the investment or balls to engage on the streets or to outreach to whites.
They have a point, what the fuck are middle class alt-righters actually contributing? Yeah TWP had larpy optics, but they actually moved to do shit.
The spencer side of that video has been debunked more than once. It is lazy "muh russian bots" tier levels of research.

Spencer has been a laughing stock in many people's eyes. And if you have been following him it's not hard to see why.
That said, a lot of the hate and memes you see here on Sup Forums are not actually legitimate grievances.
But if you haven't been seriously critical of Spencer since he started giving his college tour speeches, you haven't been paying attention. And now, of course, even he has admitted as much and decided to stop it.
Spencer as a legitimate political entity is all but finished, certainly in any mainstream capacity. But he might as well continue the metapolitical work he has been doing since ~2012.

I think most middle class alt righters are young men who aren't set up in life and don't want to jeopardise their future. Some people don't want to commit to a career in politics just yet. But once more of them become financially secure or find a profession where they can express their views expect to see them more often.

To be fair you can't expect people to get everything right the first time. People aren't born experts in their field and that includes politics. The fact that he has a willingness to change tactics means he can improve with time. At the very least the college tour improved his public speaking ability immensely and helped him to better understand his audience.
