The strongest argument against redistricting that I have read is that is all of a sudden disenfranchises constituents from their traditional, known representatives in a sudden, damaging way.

You'd think shit like this would have been fixed by now. Every time the maps are redrawn they're redrawn in favor of whoever is drawing them. Both sides complain about gerrymandering but both sides also participate it. There has to be a solution. You should be able to find someone to do it that isn't hilariously biased to one side.

There are some others that are pretty good. Most are Republican states, which is why they did so well in recent elections. Maryland (a Democrat state) is bad too, though.
