>Godzilla is the largest life form ever recorded and possesses unique body tissue integrated with metal-like muscle fibers, which can generate a strong electromagnetic charge, to support his massive weight. The end result of natural selection on Earth, he originated from plant-based life and has gone on to survive 20,000 long years as a super-evolved living organism.
the CG look like a student project
>CG looks like absolute garbage
>generic "muh revenge" character
>Godzilla is a tree
>Urobutcher
There were more things, but this looks so boring I forgot them. It looks like shit.
Perhaps the same could be said of all Godzilla movies?
>a tree
>with
>metal-like muscle fibers
>can generate a strong electromagnetic charge
did Japan developed a new drug that unheard to the outside world?
Shingodzilla look good though
Hideaki Anno's take on Godzilla was more entertaining especially if you see it as him giving a middle finger towards the government's handling of Fukushima
>>generic "muh revenge" character
Worked for Attack on Titan, didn't it?
Eren is the worst in that manga/anime
>interlaced trailer
>of digital chinese cartoons
>in 2017
fuck you
Anno's work obviously looks great. But, despite the greater respect it gets today, people still underestimate a lot of what Ishiro Honda pulled off with the original movie. It looks freaking beautiful.
Attack on Titan is shit, you nigger.
>Urobutcher
Name one bad anime he has to his name
the Madoka movie
and that Mecha anime with weird name
Eren is one of the only three well written characters in the series
>that Mecha anime with weird name
Gargantia? That was good.
lol
That was regular at his best.
>CG that looks worse than God Eater, a TV anime
really makes you think
How does the CGI look?
I thought Godzilla was a mutated lizard. Why is he a metal-type Bulbasaur now?
They're trying new things. Famous talent in the Japanese entertainment industry are taking turns at it. First there was Anno and now Urobuchi. Kojima should give it a chance as he is a big fan of the franchise.
That is not how evolution works.
>the Madoka movie
I'm still of opinion he did it against his best judgement.
>and that Mecha anime with weird name
He didn't write Gargantia.
And Expelled from Paradise was good.
>horrible cg was good
Opinion discarded.
Writing was great.
CG might not have been amazing. But that is not Urobuchi's fault.
And Angela is cute no matter what medium she is in!
>people taking a butcher trailer as face value
>being a console warrior
Why do CG anime studios insist on gimping their own work by turning off keyframe interpolation and animating at low framerates?
Theaters? I thought this was going to be a series...
Because they're trying to capture the "anime" feel of limited animation, they're not trying to make a CG show, they're using CG to replicate the traditional 2D anime style.
They're making slow progress towards perfecting it, it'll be a long while till they get there.
It's a trilogy of movies. Theatrical release for the Japanese and for international audiences it will be available on Netflix.
CG and science fiction is going to turn off 90% of the people.
This is going to be Urobuchi's masterpiece, so I guess I gotta watch to see what he comes up with.
fate zero
That was good fuck off with your shitty taste
christ I hate them so much, but I will probably still end up watching it in the near future because it's the big G.
I can abide by the aesthetics sure but the absolute lack of animation just turns my piss to vinegar.
Your words are as empty as your CGI! Mankind ill needs a Godzilla such as you!
I don't necessarily dislike anime being on Netflix (not that I use it anyway), but why do they brand it as a Netflix original?
Looks amazingly bad.
Holy shit that soundtrack though. Fucking godly 10/10 would watch for that alone.
Do you have a problem with anything besides the animation?
I'm always hyped for Godzilla...but this CGI shitfest looks terrible.
>super-evolved
>Do you have a problem with anything besides the animation?
It's the really, REALLY ho-hum premise. A bunch of soldier dudes plus a girl fight Godzilla in an Alien-esque (or Prometheus) setting while the main character dude wants revenge.
It's so boringly Hollywood
It's Urobuchi so at some point in the story the soldiers will realize that humans are the ones who are evil and realize that Godzilla is the good guy after all.
So they'll team up with Godzilla and eradicate humanity?
It can go either way, either the soldiers help Godzilla or the soldiers just accept the fact that they're evil but choose their survival over having a moral high ground.
He only wrote the first three episodes of Aldnoah Zero and those are considered to be the three best in the series.
Knowing Urobuchi the twist is going to be that Godzilla was originally a human, right?
He's going to be MC's grandfather.
yeah, and it's fucking awful
the biggest problem is the bullshit 12fps eye cancer that they fucking insist on downgrading to
every
goddamn
time
can't even watch the stuff now, it physically pains my eyes to watch it
In this universe, Godzilla pushed humanity to the brink of extinction (reducing them to mere thousands) and forced them to abandon Earth for the stars. However, since things didn't work out as intended, they've come back to retake Earth. Due to time dilation only 20 years have gone by for humans, though 20,000 years have passed on Earth.
The story could still get twisted to show that humanity were the ones that picked a fight with Godzilla or did something to piss Godzilla off or that the Earth is better off with humans gone.
Psycho pass, Fate, Madoka.
That’s such an old trope thst ancient ages should sue Uroshit for stealing plots.
>I want to kill innocent children and women because MUH SISTAH..I-I-I mean MUH AUNT
Eren sucks.
Netflix buys/licenses most of its "original" content. Same with a lot of anime. I guess they claim it as their own since it debuts on its services.
