Hello, everyone

Hello, everyone.
If you remember, I started a thread about Key the Metal Idol some days ago. I had a good time with it!

Aaaand, I also finished watching the show. So again, inviting everyone to come along and discuss it.
I also made some screencaps and gifs - Imagined what I would put on a Geocities site if I had one back then.

All and all , the story was pretty nice.

Although some things felt weird-E-verybody got over Sakura's death pretty quickly.
-They should have given more time to the whole "let's help Key take over Miho's show" scheme. It came right out of the blue, they should have spent more time building it instead of having useless scenes.
-I think it was kind of funny how the kid whose parents died just started tagging along with the gang, without a care in the world.

The infamous "info dump" from the last 2 episodes somehow didn't bother me too much.

Although, how the hell was the woodsculptor guy relevant? The robots were made outta wood?

Also, fucking lol at this dude. What a jobber, what a way to go.

Fucking elevator shafts, man

Here are the gifs I made.

Please imagine a home-made WAV version of "In the Night" playing in the background.

...

Also, imagine them spread around randomly on a badly-tiled background.

This was such a cathartic scene.

I was waiting so long for something cool to happen.

...

Fucking Ajo why were you such a creepy shit?
Did the war mess up your mind?

MMMMM LET ME MOTORBOAT THAT SHIT

...

His death speech was really cool though. And a bit scary. Shows how loony he was.

Wonder how that Benkei girl ended up.

Im still lurking OP, ive never watched this anime but im sure someone else has, dont get disheartened!

You've given me a reason to push on - thanks.

Those super long exposition episodes at the end managed to be really good.

Lessee... More discussion topics.
I searched a bit on the net, and it appears the character designer was a bit of a rarity.

Only did some H game, IIRC. It's a shame, the designs were all great. Both for the girls and the guys.

So it appears Riko's friends aren't the only ones who get Cartridge'd

Reminder
>Buy all VHS expecting sum sweet nipponese guitar riffs
>Get instead robot idols
Neoranga-tier disappointment. I'm still mad

...

And none of them were even robots, anyway!

What's Neoranga?

...

I wish to be the little boy

...

HORF

I'm pretty sure that was me, but whatever.

You did too? Cool. How did it go?

They were more like marionettes. The doll crafter guy was there to be creepy.

What was the point of this character? It seems we were meant to dislike him, but I don't know for what reason exactly?

Thanks.

I hated them.

Rather badly, not many replies.

I feel bad for the girl that died.

His point was to fall down an elevator shaft!

So did I. At least her spirit kinda-sorta got to stay with Key. But - everybody else never really gave a shit about her.

Even that Tataki dude was just "Aw man, she could have been my gf"

Did you even read the summary on the back case? I think you only have yourself to blame.

Hehe.

What a dis-appointment.

...

Still one of my favourite AMVs:

Oh man, nice. And from '06, too.

Sounds like a cool show
left his trip on though.

The various dream\nightmare sequences in the show were also pretty well made

It was a very touching moment.
