Why live?
>mfw we'll never get a 3rd season
Other urls found in this thread:
Just read the manga lol
Because other series you like will get new seasons, dont-cha-know?
But we got 3rd season: youtube.com
But I don't like any of those.
this
Actually there's only one show I like with a chance of getting another season and even then its not assured so
Man that's just rubbing salt to the wound.
>24 episodes of mahjong
Yeah that would totally be a hit and make madhouse loads.
Just be happy we even got 2 seasons, I remember how happy everyone was on Sup Forums when the first season got announced.
> 13 episodes of mahjong
Manga wasn't translated back then, what are you talking about?
> Kaiji focuses on simplistic games easy to understand
> Chooses muhjong to play next
Why did he mean by this?
It's a simplistic version of mahjong
13steps mahjong it's extremely simple for anyone who's played regular mahjong.
When the fuck is Kaiji's music composer getting out of jail?
Yeah it's not like Madhouse made an Akari anime before Kaiji . Oh wait.
Now you know how Kaiji feels when playing.
> WHO's played regular mahjong.
This.
Who cares? He will never work in industry again.
As if the anime industry of all industries is picky when it's made up of autists and degenerates. So many potential years of Taniuchi anime soundtracks gone in this timeline
Nips know Mahjong and overseas fans are irrelevant when it comes to the sales.
Mahjong's luck spikes are addictive.
There was so much heart put into the adaptation, and I feel even if it got another season, it just wouldn't feel the same. Madhouse is on a continual decline.
It's a sad state of affairs.
Whose dick do I have to suck to get a third season
Read the mango, feg.
Read the manga nigga.
Read the manga and start mahjong too
Part 3 of Kaiji is my favorite right after Part 1. Part 4 is comparable to Part 2 and it also contains one of my favorite mini arcs in the series (Kazuya's 'novel'). One Poker (P5) has been alright so far but the game itself is pretty simple and not exciting to think about, but we're only midway through the english scans so things might change later...
...
Is pt3 fun if i know all the spoilers? Sorry for the faggot question.
Very.
I honestly rather have an animated adaptation of Kurosawa.
Good news.
Will FKMT top Akagi's character with Kaiji's final arc? I want to believe
They say work morale develops along with the person as a whole, so I just can't see how. Also it feels like Kaiji stuck being infantile for way too long without any development but not much time has passed in-universe. Half a year between pt2 and the rest, half a year underground, few months between two parts of the pt1. Maybe 1,5-2 years max since the nice boat unless I'm wrong.
Sadly as this user and dialogue of other supporting characters in the manga said, kaiji has a mental problem that has been putting him in the situations we often find him, the whole reason for Kaiji to live is to get out of abysmal circumstances, either he ends up losing one of the life threatening trials he is bound to take without deus ex saving him or he becomes a homeless man once he loses the heat for gambling.
I still think Kaiji is more about lost post-bubble generation instead of just muh gambling or else Kaiji wouldn't consistently mention about "them" praying on "us", but the result is all the same, whatever the author decides to pull with the dude, it will be a really hard work to convince readers it worked as shown.
I think it's more about Kaiji's demons than gambling itself, the Chinchiro arc showed some of that and the beginning of part 3 too. Maybe he'll elaborate on that now that part 5 is over
>Akari
Who?
I imagine that his experiences influence his opinions after so much betrayal, the only ones who haven't failed him yet are Chang and Mario.
Even his friendships are unsafe bets, poor guy.
Will he go back to Sakazaki and Mikoko?
>the only ones who haven't failed him yet are Chang and Mario.
And Sakazaki
And the other 3 45ers
And the ones who died during electric steel frame crossing
He most probably will try, but Sakazaki would not take kindly to that after paying him to leave.
Come now, including the ones who died in the steel frames were more like neutrals instad of allies
