Because full fees are paid by overseas students, the Universities are obliged to give them a pass. I used to work at a University and this is the norm.
The net affect of this is that degrees are not worth the paper they are printed on. It's pay to graduate instead of actually having to study and know anything.
Further, the international student thing is used as an immigration backdoor.

The "best universities" in the country are generally degree-mill tier when it comes to actual teaching quality, student services, and education of students. They coast on their research cred and international prestige and many don't really give two shits about students. The insane and irrational social justice movements also have a strong presence.
Rural universities by comparison will treat you like a human being. Maybe not as much prestige to their degrees. But it would depend on what you are studying, friendo.
It's extremely environmentally unfriendly, that's the main reason that western countries import so much energy and rare metals from countries far away. Chink and middle eastern governments couldn't care less about their country's environment.

I think it's because Irish or Italians are not as rich as those chinks, cannot achieve the high score in English test in comparison to chinks. I heard there are many agencies in chinkland teaching how to systematically cracking the IELTS. Not sure about Italian but all Irish and English are illiteracy anyway. I have heard many stories that English people can't even get IELTS 6. Usually Universities require IELTS 6.5 or 7.
