Probably not. I'm sad about it.
The characters designs-- not the style but the lack of the personality which showed so clearly out of them-- make me feel like the creators don't see that the characters and their opposing thoughts and stories are the interesting part, not the ships and flashy battles and tactics babble.
Someone on twitter did an edit to put personality into these new style designs, very simple changes but it was miles better. The ease of it and fact they didn't bother themselves shows me the creators didn't care.
