>Start visiting Sup Forums around 2016 when Trump was campaigning >Never had strong held beliefs, but always leaned conservative because thats what my parents are >Get to college and told about how because I'm a white guy I'm privileged despite having to take out student loans and work through school >Over the next couple years I feel at home with Sup Forums and some conservative folks I've met on campus, even some of the libertarian kids I agree with. Made a couple friends. >Slowly realize that despite the 3 or 4 friends I've made at school, nobody else I know shares my views except for the people on Sup Forums >Suddenly realize that Sup Forums politics is no different than any other board on Sup Forums >We're basically the weird, outcast kids with no real sense of belonging, and the majority of people think our ideas are batshit insane
How do you deal with this? I still want to fight the good fight, but I'm starting to think Sup Forums isn't as great as I feel it is.
>actually caring what other people think >revealing your power level
wow
Colton Cooper
Nobody with half a brain would buy into your RETARDED propaganda. Capitalism > Communism
My suggestions: Do your best to become an hero on webcam (or in front of your family) as fast as possible
Justin Rodriguez
None of these kids are the ones actually making Sup Forums special. There are incredibly smart people here and they aren't the type to get sucked into the bullshit aspect and go to some faggy meetup or march with a meme sign
Joshua Myers
Lurk moar you newfag. Nobody gives a shit about your political beliefs.
Isaiah Myers
They're both shit though. Fascism, Guild Socialism, National Syndicalism, Market Socialism, etc.... etc.... would be much better than either system.
Asher Jackson
First of all, Sup Forums is not one person. >We're basically the weird, outcast kids with no real sense of belonging, and the majority of people think our ideas are batshit insane People on the outer fringes of knowledge are by definition outcasts. You don't get anywhere near the edge without leaving the group behind. TBQH half the people on Sup Forums are normies, and another 30% at least are people who think they're on the fringes but only half/quarter the way there, but too far from the group to belong.
When you come to the realization that most of the worst policy choices happened 50 Years and we have no hope of changing them is when you will hit the fringe. I estimate there may be roughly 500-1000 people I can get to share my views on how to change.
Brayden Carter
You're exactly the kind of person I was referring to. If you think that's the fringe, you know jack shit.
You're like a few lecture slides away from a normie.
Jordan Watson
Fuck off with your concern trolling. The reason Sup Forums is so shit is precisely because people like you came here. It was already bad before, but the 2016 election was the tipping point. Don't think Sup Forums is that great? Want to do something about it? Leave. Make Sup Forums Great Again
Ryder Wright
Outcast? Check who the president is
Grayson Anderson
Getting rich richer than ur liberal friends
William Flores
I have a finely developed personal code of ethics and philosophy. What makes Sup Forums deviant is that it is made of individuals, not like minded collectives precisely because there is such a limited capacity for self-policing.
You feel bad because you've realized that you no longer belong to any group. You have self-actualized and that is terrifying. Blessed are you for you long to go under. Blessed am I for I long to cross over. Blessed is Sup Forums for it gazes unceasingly into the abyss but does become a new abyss.
If public executions, tearing down apartments of any size and stripping naturalized citizens and deporting them are normie views than enlighten me. I don’t think anyone would approve of them.
Ryan Howard
Funny how the "weird outcast small group of kids" just won the presidential election in 2016. What are you on lad?
You're confusing knowledge with aspirations. Your knowledge is a few lecture slide from normie status, whereas your aspirations are not.
Justin Harris
Go outside. Visit the country side. Maybe a small town? I live in Oregon. If you never left Portland, Salem, or Eugene you'd think we're more liberal than CA. Geographically, 90% of this state is deep red. Your problem is that you're to stupid to realize where all the like minded people are. Go outside OP. No, a walk down Broadway doesn't count as outside.
Jayden King
My knowledge is pretty comprehensive. I understand why all of those policies exist in the first place, what would need to change in order to move to that point and what controls are in place to prevent the policy from happening even if public opinion swayed to support it. It isn’t random how everything came to exist.
Carson Campbell
>Start visiting Sup Forums around 2016 go back to r*ddit you scum
Jackson Green
I hear what you're all saying, but this all just is starting to feel like autistic trolling to me. It's like /fit/ with their height threads and /r9k/ with their chad and Stacy friends. Like I got so wrapped up in the tiki torches and milo videos that I basically became a brony or something similar or just as bad.
Is Sup Forums the new brony? Like autistic cringe posting or something? Because thats what I'm starting to feel like being here.
John Cook
That is the other thing I'm wrestling with. All the people I've met who actually share the same views as me are kind of hicks. Anyone I've met with any semblance of an education or class has been centrist or left leaning. All the people who share the views I do and the folks here generally do are inbred backwoods hicks or wimpy kids whose parents buy them everything but have no real sense of hard work themselves.
I don't know, its just a lot to take in to question my belief system.
Jacob Perez
Because Centrist, Off-Left doesn’t require any thought to agree to the precepts. “I want to help people” is a lot more succinct then explaining everything wrong that goes into “I want to help people” during the execution stage.
Isaiah Hall
To elaborate, I saw this posted the other day and this looks like my friend Bryan I met in one of my classes. So idk, the idea of us all being people who have our lives together like Donald trump and his family is like a facade. We're not like him. We're just a bunch of losers letting off steam on the internet.
Sup Forums is amazing for someone who wants to expand their interests, all boards are niche boards here, all of them have a theme which determines the shape of its content
Politics is discussed on Sup Forums because Sup Forums is for Politics, you wouldnt go to /ck/ to discuss literature or post about nature in /tech/
To assume Sup Forums is just for the weird kids is you projecting the fact that you feel weird onto Sup Forums because you agree with more vieuws people hold here in comparison with your surroundings
No board is the weird kids on Sup Forums because all boards are the weird kids on Sup Forums, each with a niche geeky interest which they cannot statisfy in their daily life and therefor seek it here
tl;dr I deal with it by realizing every single board is its own niche and there's no real "Sup Forums VS pol" scenario going on
The issue is that within academia you can lose any prospect of a carreer if you claim the "wrong" political interest, this is due to corruption of the values of education caused by moral people who mean well and by doing so create harm because their definition of 'well' is determined only by them and imposed with tyranical methods such as exclusion
It is no wonder hardly anyone in academics is not an outspoken conservative
This, I think when it came down to the internet vs one particular board its always shown as “The internet vs Sup Forums”. The Tumblr, jessi slaughter, and shai’s capture the flag for example. Sure a lot of other boards might dislike us (Sup Forums) but they will always fight to keep this autism cesspool running. Ill still shitpost on tv every day that stan lees past away because its fun and fuck’em. Pic related, Rip stan
There are way, way more people who agree with you than you realize. Even in New York, where I am, my office of fifty people has at least five bros and two sisters in it.
Jason Turner
you just have a higher IQ, nothing wrong with that.
Evan Cook
>just won the presidential election Yeah, just keep kidding yourself. That way you remain on the fringe.
James Long
The intelligent ones who follow current events, are educated on politics, and can hold their own in a discussion are all gainfully employed and have better things to do than shoot pool or be in a bar on a Wednesday night. Have you ever considered where someone like you might end up if you lived in a small rural town? Go chat with the small business owner or town mechanic, or store owner. Use some critically think for fucks sake op. You're starting to make me think you're just claiming to be a conservative because it's edgy and cool.
Michael Campbell
quid est veritas?
Jackson Kelly
It's your job to convert the people around you, don't be a pussy and hide, be the change you want to see.
Grayson Hill
I don't feel stupid for my beliefs. Most people know fuck all about politics, history, or anything else. How many times does Sup Forums have to be right for you to see that most people simply spout talking points delivered to them by people with an agenda? Sure, we have an agenda too, but on this board, there is legit discussion and real argument that helps us all find the truth so we can decide for ourselves. Plenty of people share conservative beliefs, but we don't constantly shove it in the face of normies. How do you think Trump got elected? It wasn't just voting for the party. Don't talk politics with the uninformed and you'll be much happier. Talking politics with normies is like trying to change an NPC's dialogue in a video game. Unless you present real and undeniable proof to them, you won't change their mind. Even then, the programming is often too atrong

Nice try schlomo. >Never tell your enemies what you will do. Simply do it.
>The energy necessary to refute a lie is an order of magnitude greater than to produce it.
>The enemy of my enemy is not my friend, but what is bad for my enemy is good for me.
>The jew will only tell a truth if it benefits a greater lie.
>The jew, when caught in a lie, will create a new narrative and purposefully skip a logical step to twist the narrative in his favor, then double down on the new lie and never admit to the omitted logical step even upon pain of death.
According to attorney Brian Glick in his book War at Home, the FBI used four main methods during COINTELPRO:
Infiltration: Agents and informers did not merely spy on political activists. Their main purpose was to discredit, disrupt and negatively redirect action. Their very presence served to undermine trust and scare off potential supporters. The FBI and police exploited this fear to smear genuine activists as agents. Psychological warfare: The FBI and police used myriad "dirty tricks" to undermine progressive movements. They planted false media stories and published bogus leaflets and other publications in the name of targeted groups. They forged correspondence, sent anonymous letters, and made anonymous telephone calls. They spread misinformation about meetings and events, set up pseudo movement groups run by government agents, and manipulated or strong-armed parents, employers, landlords, school officials and others to cause trouble for activists. They used bad-jacketing to create suspicion about targeted activists, sometimes with lethal consequences.[65] Harassment via the legal system: The FBI and police abused the legal system to harass dissidents and make them appear to be criminals. Officers of the law gave perjured testimony and presented fabricated evidence as a pretext for false arrests and wrongful imprisonment. They discriminatorily enforced tax laws and other government regulations and used conspicuous surveillance, "investigative" interviews, and grand jury subpoenas in an effort to intimidate activists and silence their supporters.[64][66]

>White guys cries to his loser white online pen-pals
Waaaah Waaaah Waaaah

Fucking pathetc white bois. No wonder white women refuse your babies
Caleb Bennett
Illegal force: The FBI conspired with local police departments to threaten dissidents; to conduct illegal break-ins in order to search dissident homes; and to commit vandalism, assaults, beatings and assassinations.[64] The object was to frighten or eliminate dissidents and disrupt their movements.
Undermine public opinion: One of the primary ways the FBI targeted organizations was by challenging their reputations in the community and denying them a platform to gain legitimacy. Hoover specifically designed programs to block leaders from "spreading their philosophy publicly or through the communications media". Furthermore, the organization created and controlled negative media meant to undermine black power organizations. For instance, they oversaw the creation of "documentaries" skillfully edited to paint the BPP as aggressive, and false newspapers that spread misinformation about party members. the ability of the FBI to create distrust within and between revolutionary organizations tainted their public image and weakened chances at unity and public support.[44]

And most importantly, all of you fags need to read this above all else.
Look for it when anons attempt these techniques, and ignore them.
