How come we've seen hardly any subordinate crews if Big Mom has arranged so many political marriages?

I wanna fuck One Piece lolis!
Because only the family and underworld rulers were invited to the tea party. Even the family members themselves don't see each other very often.
So Haki stops all the properties from the fruit right? Including things like the heat.
>there is so much
>domb
There are so many dumb anons in these threads.
...
It doesn't stop anything, I think it's more accurate to say it ignores them. Haki ignores the fact that Luffy is rubber, that Caesar is Gas. Even Seastone doesn't stop Devil Fruits. The only thing in the show that has nullified Devil Fruits is Teach's Darkness.
So... Perospero have a awakened fruit, right?
No. Haki just makes it so you can hurt them, only sea stone and Blackbeard can stop the user's fruit properties.
Obviously, yes. He used his awakening in the latest chapter, didn't he?
>So Haki stops all the properties from the fruit right?
that's more of a blackbeard's thing. let's just say that haki lets you hit the real body of a fruit user
But wouldn't the bullet just melt then? Haki or not.
Yes.
>finding the One Piece
or
>3 Rhinoceros beetles
Pick one.
it'd melt but it'd still penetrate him if he isn't trying to avoid it or counter it
No, because like I said, Haki ignores that. Why do you think Luffy can get hurt from getting punched with Haki? It's still a blunt punch but the fact that Haki is being used means Luffy's rubber properties are being ignored by the punch. I'm sure Akainu probably could melt the bullet if he put his mind to it but as far as we know this is how it works.
This is a common opinion among civilians though. The guys on a gourmet tour whose ship had sunk were similarly surprised the SH crew would help them and provide them with food. Dumb user.
Sea stone does stop it right?
the bullet melts if akainu shifts his magma body in order to avoid it
There's plenty of Rhino beetles in the world. Only one One Piece. Hell, I might even find an Atlas beetle crawling on top of the One Piece treasure.
Even if it's melted it's still a wad of burning got iron splashing at his true body. Likely it doesn't melt though, since haki infused arrows were strong enough to shatter rock without being damaged.
Nope. Not really. Seastone makes the user lose control of their Devil Fruit. Meaning they can't actively use it. Luffy is still rubber when he's in contact with Seastone or even when he's completely in the sea. But when half of their bodies are in water, they can't use their fruits. They still are whatever they are, they just can't use it. If that makes sense.
That makes sense, I have been getting back into One Piece and Haki confused me.

Oda, where's my friend Zoro?
haki is lame because it makes logia fruits seem to weak
a logia user expanding his mass essentially just gets a bigger hitbox for haki users to hit right?
...
Where he belongs
Yes, but the Haki users that really matter are incredibly powerful people. Aokiji, Kizaru, Akainu, for example. They can avoid Haki attacks and they aren't dumb enough to make themselves a bigger target. Smoker only did that to purposefully trick Vergo.
it's like nami forgot during the time-skip what shirts were and only on whole cake remembered they were a thing you can wear on your upper body
aokiji can do the same shit katakuri uses if he gets attacked by haki, the others likely can too
if only enel wasn't such a bitch, he probably would have learned it
How is Perospero able to pee with that long coat of his?
fucking kunoichis
>a logia user expanding his mass essentially just gets a bigger hitbox for haki users to hit right?
correct and it's pretty much implied that it also becomes much harder for the logia user to control such a massive hitbox
the cutest
She doesn't wear shirts because they don't fit anyways.
Kizaru never seems to give a shit and he just tanks everything.
Has he ever taken actual damage yet? His reaction to Marco's kick almost seemed like it was a joke.
He pulls his arms in from his sleeves into the jacket and lifts the jacket up over his groin
t. coat fan
Punished Luffy!
He opens the coat. gasp
He doesn't do that in public though. The police would arrest him. Or maybe he does and they just don't.
>the others likely can too
Akainu clearly did it against Marco and Vista.
enel never met anyone who could hit him
he hasn't really taken a hit yet he needed to use that for
She cannot wear a top and a bottom at the same time. For boner-inducing purposes.
...
poor carrot
Luffy wasn't rubber when Zephyr shot him with a sea stone bullet and blew him away. Rubber wouldn't have gotten shot.
Eat it.
non canon movie where even luffy managed to indent seastone
Throughout the series the crew has almost unanimously decided that shirts are kind of lame. Started with Luffy no longer buttoning up his vests, then Zoro started wearing more open shirts and leaving his shirts un buttoned, then Franky always had his open, and by the time skip pretty much the only crew members who wear actual shirts are Robin and Brook, and even Robin was lax on that front.
sanji
Amazing, I dunno if it's just the fluffy outfit, but Nami's tits are surprisingly modest and her waist is normal as well.
Oh my god. I honestly completely forgot about Sanji, I feel so ashamed, I'm not even some anti-Sanji shit poster!
>mfw ship Franky and Robin really hard
Never got into the shipping scene, m8s, what do
one piece seems like a really pointless series to do the shipping stuff for
They are really just a perfect fit and have the best chemistry of anybody on board.

What the fuck, do you think there is some kind of secret club of something?
Just look for art, save it, and share it here.
yes, because that's what we need - more irrelevant named characters

gotta show the result of those past two years, brother
Who should voice Big Momma and Perospero in the English dub?

With Wano coming up between June 2018 and June 2019, it's shaping up to be the last Dressrosa-sized super-long arc before EOS stuff involving Shanks, BB, Raftel, Final War. Sure there'll be arcs in-between then but I doubt we'll have an ~100 chapter arcs between Wano and EOS.
>Elbaf arc
Basically the 2nd half of the Big Mom arc. We're already acquainted with her crew. Maybe 50-70 chapters long.
>Vegapunk + Moon arc
I'm not sure if they'll be part of the same saga or not but they'll probably be smaller arcs which we haven't had in a while except for Zou.
I can't really think of anything else. I imagine before BB we'll have Luffy defeat Shanks in a Davy Back Fight on Pirate Island. But anything involving Shanks, BB, Raftel, and Final War will be part of the closing of the manga.
(cont'd)...
That level of dedication is impressive.
What does Perospero does when he needs to pee during one of his family tea parties?
goes to the bathroom
With Wano coming up in a year or so and it being the last super-long arc, I imagine the completed Strawhat crew will be present on Wano. Maybe not all of them have *officially* joined but they'll be present. I can't imagine anyone new members being introduced after Wano.
So, other than Jinbe, who's really left to join? Who's worth speculating about?
The only people worth speculating over are:
>Carrot
I think she's the most likely after Jinbe to be honest. I don't see her going back to Zou.
>Reiju
I'm curious where her and Germa will end up after WCI arc.
>Bonney
Oda's been teasing her character for a long-ass time. It's about time we get to her story and quit blueballing the readers. Doesn't appear to have a crew anymore.
>Urouge
The only other non-SH Supernova besides Law and Bonney that's going to get an individual focus in the story. His story is almost definitely tied to Enel. I imagine he'll be an ally for the Moon arc. Has a crew.
>Someone from Wano
We already have a swordsman but maybe a ninja?
I can't really think of anyone else. Caesar is a running gag and the crew thinks he's a scumbag. Vivi is too weak and has a duty to Alabasta and I doubt Luffy will be at Reverie.
Caesar will probably join Buggy's crew
...
>The only other non-SH Supernova besides Law and Bonney that's going to get an individual focus in the story.
What? They are all going to get individual focus.
Holy fuck
don't forget Caribou. He could be the Jane of the SH.
>burger units
>I'm curious where her and Germa will end up after WCI arc.
I'm pretty sure theu're going to the Reverie, i'm sure Oda didn't state the Germa position in the WG to do nothing with it in the end
>Vivi is too weak and has a duty to Alabasta and I doubt Luffy will be at Reverie.
Vivi is about to lose her ability to stay in Alabasta, and fighting strength doesn't mean much in a series like One Piece where characters can pull major powerups out of their asses whenever the plot requires one.
The question is just whether or not Luffy will be at Reverie, and that'll come down to how long Reverie is going to be. If it's only a few chapters she'll probably end up with the revolutionaries or leading the allied nations against the World Government. If it's a lengthy major arc before Wano then he's going to be there with some excuse, and that makes her a very possible candidate.
What happened here?
Maybe that's the wrong word. None of them besides Bonney and Urouge are going to be as storied as Law. Urouge has some history with Enel. I don't even know what's Bonney's deal.
Sure we'll find out a little more about the supernovas on Wano (Kidd, Killer, Apoo, X Drake, Hawkins) but it's probably going to be more like Bege in this arc. We find out a little more of their backstory but that's about it, save for maybe X Drake's former involvement in the Marines.
How strong are Admirals compared to Yonkos? Big Meme seems pretty fucking unbeatable herself, Kaido might be even stronger
>None of them besides Bonney and Urouge are going to be as storied as Law.
What? Why? Literally out of your ass, user.
We did learn a bit about Drake's past through the Law flashback, since he and his dad were minor characters in it.
They also expect to be stripped of their membership. Why bother going if you're just going to be branded a criminal in the middle of the WG capital surrounded by Marine Admirals and CP-0?
Sounds like a bad idea, I wouldn't go either.
Why would Luffy go in full reverse through his New World journey, past even Punk Hazard, just to show up somewhere where he shouldn't? Reverie is already underway during WCI and Luffy is at least a week away from Mariejois with non-stop sailing. It would be over by the time he gets to the Red Line, let alone finds a way to trick the Marines and Government to let him have passage up to Mariejois.
Luffy will not be in Reverie besides people talking about him. Vivi is going to be the main character.
>Luffy is at least a week away from Mariejois with non-stop sailing.
So are the Germa, who will probably be our segway into the Reverie arc once Whole Cake Island ends.
if you could have any minor villains devil fruit, which would it be?
why did oda want to make one piece about the yonko alone when every shichibukai was cooler than the yonko
Germa aren't going to Reverie, especially if they stay around Tottoland and go to Cacao Island after hearing that's where the SHs are.
So, what are your theories concerning the Will of D ?
I think that the members of the D family connected between them like Eldians in Snk, when a D dies, his will is transferred to a random D, like Roger and Luffy. I think we'll soon encounter a D bearing Ace's will, like Whitebeard predicted.
Because they're all on Wano and not all of them can be winners. Law's a D. and one of the biggest Gary Stu's in the series, his fruit is also of plot convenience.
Bonney's been shoved in our face by Oda from time to time, with some connection to WB.
Urouge's been name dropped this arc, probably has some history with Enel.
None of the rest have gotten the same kind of attention.
Bege was an important ally in this arc but Oda never made a huge emphasis on his backstory. Apoo and Hawkins will probably get similar level of attention. Kidd's purpose is draw comparison from Luffy and Law. He's basically the big loser of his generation like Shiki.
X Drake might get some more attention because of his involvement in the Marines and probable knowledge about the internal problems at the WG but that's about it.
Why wouldn't they? Now that their alliance with Big Mom is void they have no reason not to go.
Why would Germa go to Reverie just to have Kizaru swiss-cheese them by spamming lasers?
>muh coolness factor
The Shichibukai are all plot devices for the SHs, nothing more. Even Oda decided that their use in the story is drying up, by having Fujitora want to remove the system altogether.
>Mihawk = a goal for Zoro to overcome
>Blackbeard = supposed final boss in terms of pirates
>Kuma = Revolutionary connection to Robin and convenient way for the SHs to escape Kizaru
>Jinbe = crew member and connection to Luffy (thru Ace) and Nami (thru Arlong)
>Law = greatest ally
>Buggy = ""rival""
>Crocodile, Moriah, Crocodile = stepping stones to make the SHs more well-known
Forgot a couple
>Hancock = Luffy's ""love interest"" and only there to move him along the story from AZ to Marineford
>Weevil = currently unknown
switch Buggy and Blackbeard and you're golden.
I'm pretty sure Weevil will just get wrapped up into Wano arc since he's hunting Luffy and Marco. Weevil absolutely does not look like a primary arc antagonist. I can't imagine a whole arc dedicated to Weevil.
I hope not, for me it's Sabo and Luffy who inherited Ace's will. I like it better when spiritual stuff like "inherited wills" remain spiritual though, making it a part of a power mechanic or genetic mechanics is downplaying it imo.
I think the D are just descendants from the Ancient kingdom who had to go full diaspora after the void century.
