He wasn't working against him during the campaign and it was during that time Cambridge Analytica was gathering Facebook analytics under the direction of Steve Bannon, which is a crime because Cambridge Analytica was being run by a foreign national.

What Bannon wrote in his book occurred way after. The fact that he was critical of Trump in his book doesn't absolve Bannon of his involvement with Cambridge Analytica and considering Cambridge Analytica was comprised of foreign nationals contributing to a US Presidential campaign, it's possible that Bannon could be charged with a crime and forced to testify against trump during Impeachment in exchange for leniency.

Who cares about Cambridge Analytica....Facebook were the group who willingly sold the data. Also Facebook's co-founder was Hillary Clinton's biggest supporter. They gave her everything she wanted or needed for free.

I was under the impression that Facebook just gave the data away because they were lied to and told it was for academic research. Do you have any evidence that Facebook sold the data?

I realize that here has been a concerted effort to discredit Trumps victory and until now I wasn't worried. The Cambridge Analytica revelations are actually a serious threat and I'm right to be worried about it.
