Right, it is an unsolved murder which millions of Americans know about solely because of the conspiracy theory it is at the center of. The only reason people know the name Seth Rich is because somebody decided it would be politically useful to tie it to Clinton.
C'mon, be honest.
As far as I know he only continues to insist that he didn't get it from anyone affiliated with any government. Even if he did say Seth gave it to him, does he expect anyone to believe that without offering some proof?
There are a few possibilities here. Maybe Seth Rich gave Assange the information, but if he used the anonymous submission tool, there would be no proof that he did. If however, he used email or another means lacking anonymity, Assange would be able to DEMONSTRATE that Seth did in fact give him the emails.
OR Assange knows exactly where it came from and is trying to lie and say that it was Seth Rich rather than say, a state actor.
