Sup guys I'm the venezuelan from like a week ago that posted during his test.
I've come today with some extra free time using my university internet (which isn't blocked in here like the cantv one) to explain with more objective point of view the daily situation in here.
I'm not quite sure where to start so I'll go with the basic and in green text:
>In general we are not "literally starving", at least not all the population.
>Lower classes (which are plenty of people) are the ones mostly eating from the garbage, upper classes (and the ones sucking from the state) are living "okay" (the more they suck the better they live)
>meanwhile the middle class is just eating less and less
>Personally I'm eating less food each passing month, some weeks I just literally eat eggs with something (rice or bread or arepas) the whole 3 foods of the day. That is obviously not enough food for anyone, and I'm losing weight basically for that.
>I cannot even imagine how are lower classes people doing, besides getting the "government aid".
Now you may ask
what is keeping the country from fully starving?
>well in general this land is too damn rich
>you can plant anything on any soil
>Many people are just literally planting banana trees to sell and eat
>other things are avocados, and such
>the vegetables market is fairly cheap in comparison to buy rice or spaghetti
>in fact some times I personally compliment eggs and rice with some potatos and carrots
>But even that is getting expensive (at least for us) each week
>In the latest weeks I've seen these vegetable markets without selling, some stuff is even rotting on the markets
>I've seen some people selling almost fully black bananas
If you have anything to ask I'll try to answer.
