Here's my thoughts on it.
Playing devil's advocate here; if the goal was to maintain global economic institutions, regardless of industry, wouldn't it make more sense to turn "culture" itself into commodities via travel and experience rather than creating new goods and services with which to culturally "identify"?
I understand that profit is the endgame here, but shouldn't that kind of innovation be reserved for humanity's advancement rather than trapping people in an egotistical hug box? It's essentially creating demand for services that do more to degrade the cultures that globalists are trying commodify and turn into a sellable product, than locally producing goods of actual value which, if sufficiently innovative, would eventually bring more to the global market anyway in unforeseen ways.
If, however, the goal is the redefining of value by changing what people feel is required to belong to a culture, this changed supply/demand dynamic, which this user admitted resulted in an explosion of transsexuality, will eventually undermine the global identity, which is "human" at the moment; cultural identity is being destroyed to increase the profitability of the culture they're commodifying in the first place.
Would the globalists not benefit more in the long run by bringing prosperity to the rest of the world and allowing their respective cultures to create things of subjective value, first marketed to their own countries, and then to global export by virtue of brilliance and innovation, when it reaches a sufficient wow factor? Rather than capitulating to the lowest common denominator, human lust, would they not benefit more in the long by uplifting values to a higher standard so that more people can create better things?

IMO identity politics are a cancerous idea that the US weaponized to kill occupy wall street. But its a divide and conquer strategy that works too well. The internet magnifies it through social media. While at the same time the west has removed every concept of shame culture that kept people behaving. The end result of identity politics is hundreds of groups that purity spiral without a common enemy. Once the left fully turns on white women, you might actually get a war.
As for cosmetics, that's probably the true part. Making money of women is the basis for consumerism. They are the best consumers of all. You have to infantilize a man to get him to do the same consumerism, as is also happening. But women are the easy to manipulate into spending.

Agree with pretty much everything you said..it's funny that you talk about all of that...I had a dream last night that seems relevant to what you're saying..gonna paraphrase or it'll be too long; I was riding on airforce one or, rather, I WAS airforce one and a wind (or some force) that blew from the left side seemed to be rocking the plane and making the wings buckle when, suddenly we landed quite hard and I thought everything was going to be okay. Exactly eleven dream seconds later, that same force (don't ask how, I just know it was same one) sheared off the right wing of the plane and we were suddenly up in the air again spiraling when the broken wing rose up from the runway and severed the left one. I thought I was going to die but then the plane balanced itself out before crash landing again in one but badly beaten piece. As it bounced forward, I (my physical form) materialized on what was left of the fuselage close to the right wing, and I saw Donald Trump stagger off the plane before leaving a shitload of presents in off-white bags and leaving them on the runway as though he was leaving them there for everyone to claim as their own. Then he silently and solemnly climbed into a mahogany coffin, closed the lid on himself, and then rose up into the sky at a ridiculous speed.
