Clearing out the big cities won't be hard once we capture Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and some of Montana and British Colombia. You don't even have to go door kicking. You just give them 72 hours to GTFO and get escorted to the border, and then you surround the city and shoot anything brown that tries to leave. UN peacekeepers are composed of troops from member states. Most UN member states don't have substantially large armies and only a handful have force projection capability outside of their region. To wage a war on American soil would require vastly more men and material than most of the world has. It would also require a great deal of commitment and willingness to sustain massive casualties, something Uganda, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, or Sweden just won't put up with for long.
Will you see a foreign intervention to secure areas of international interest (ex. major ports such as New York or Los Angeles)? To dismantle the US nuclear arsenal before it falls into the hands of warring factions? Perhaps. But a full scale invasion wouldn't even be considered.
