How do you figure? Ichigo's naturally talented, but she has many significant failures and still gets good of her own accord. The plot bends backwards to make Yume stronger.
Even if Ichigo resembles the traditional Mary Sue more closely, in execution she is a much more lovable and compelling character.

Non stared and then placed her finger just above the band of Lala's pants and ran it upward and into Lala's bellybutton. Lala squirmed and gave a gentle squeak and Non felt suddenly hot in her cheeks and in the base of her stomach. Without a word she got into her sleeping sister's bed and pulled the blankets back over them.
She slipped her hands inside Lala's top and hugged herself tight to her sister's warm soft body. Her heart beat furiously, her parted lips were an inch from Lala's collarbone.
"What am I doing?" she murmured.

I like Yume as a character because she's human. OG protags were made of cardboard, they wouldn't be too fun in a vacuum, hell they weren't any fun in the crossover episodes, especially Akari because at least Ichigo can climb stuff and chop trees.

There will be an Aikatsu x Aikatsu Stars collab drama CD with a new Monaca (the best Monaca) song with the vocals of every member of Star Anis and Aikatsu Stars.

It's kinda telling that Stars isn't all that successful when they have to keep bringing back the original cast to get people's interest.

I hate it when they call this kind of thing a collab.
