To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand the Magus Bride's opening. The music is extremely beautiful, and without a solid grasp of Japanese Proto-Sengoku traditional dancing music most of the complexity will go over a typical viewers head. There's also Chise's singing voice, which is deftly woven into her character- her personal style draws heavily from being hated by her mother, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of this music, to realise that it's not just great- it says something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike the Magus Bride's opening truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the depth in the opening catchphrase "Watashiiiii," which itself is a cryptic reference to Dostoevsky's Russian epic The Idiot. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as JUNNA's genius composing reverberates through their earbuds. What fools.. how I pity them
