Denmark No! EU accuses DK of Illegally Buy Tanks

>Can't have your own tank Goy

The EU Commission says Denmark has made illegal agreements to purchase tanks, vehicles and artillery for the country's military.
The Commission has sent a formal notice to Denmark over the issue, reports Altinget.

According to the purchase agreements, suppliers of the new military equipment must place orders in Denmark in return for doing business with the military, in order to ensure some of the value of the investments remains in Denmark.

But an EU directive on public purchases of military hardware states that member states must not enter into such agreements unless for reasons of national security.

Denmark has previously tried to convince the EU Commission that the purchase agreements do not break EU rules, according to Altinget's report. The formal notice from the EU represents a rejection of the Danish claim.

But Denmark is expected to stick to its guns over the matter, the media reports, with compensation payments likely to be demanded should the Scandinavian country accept the EU complaint or lose a trial over the matter at the European Court of Justice (ECJ).

The Danish Business Authority (Erhvervsstyrelsen) has confirmed receiving the written notice, which is the first formal step towards an ECJ trial, but declined to comment further to Altinget.

Oy fucking vey

fuck the EU. Our government wont pay shit for two reasons: we dont have the cash and there is way too much anti EU sentiment in Denmark.
Also the EUs reasons is fucking retarded and they are just salty we did not buy all our military gear from EU member states. We bought it from General Dynamics (American) and Nexter Systems (French).

You do the right thing

Do you even know what this is all about? The EU countries, Denmark included, many decades ago put together rules to safeguard competition and make corruption from government contracts outlawed. The US has similar rules. Denmark broke rules by trying to provide contracts together which reduced competition in order to follow socialist goals of getting kickbacks for certain Danish companies.

If you think socialism and corruption on government levels, good, say that. If not, do not criticize rules America had as well.

WHERE IS YOA TONK LOICENCE?

buying military equipment is a geopolitical move here in Denmark. We dont always buy what is best or what is cheapest. We buy on the grounds of alliances, geopolitical placements and investment.
Two companies say they want to do business with us and the deals on the table are 2billion and 1,5billion. Then Eu the wants us to take the 1,5billion no matter what.
That is retarded as its our money and we can do with it as we see fit. The EU will never convince the general danish public why this is corruption or some shit like that. Mainly because Denmark is consistently number 1-3 on the least corruption list and we consider ALL the southern Europeans to be Brazil level of corruption.

Fuck the EU.
They have no executive power anyway.

They think they are magicians because all they have is spells. And only Germany is stupid enough to follow every word.

OI!!

DON'T BE A WANK
BIN THAT TANK

Man you Germans are literally the only thing holding the eu together

>buying military equipment is a geopolitical move here in Denmark. We dont always buy what is best or what is cheapest. We buy on the grounds of alliances, geopolitical placements and investment.

The do not sign up to EU rules which provide anti-corruption measures even for military contracts.

well obviously.
its funny how the EU claim that Denmark did not take the best deal and thus we have to pay a fine. We took the best deal based on our criteria and they just wont accept it.
its like buying apples where one seller offers you 20 now and another offers you 15 now and 10 later. According to the EU we MUST take the offer buy the first apple merchant. Its silly and stupid.

well we did not sign up Klaus. We got forced to comply. The EU base their laws on majority and countries that do not want to follow have two options: Get the fuck out or try and get a special deal.
Denmark got loads of these specials deals and we got the most opt-outs of all member states (we have to follow less regulation that even Norway and Switzerland that are not even members).
Denmark cannot participate in any form of military alliances or initiative and all we have an opt-out in place for all criminal law. So you can see how there is some overlap here that the average Dane will also spot and just say "go fuck yourself Euronigger".

What is Article 50?

Sorry, Dane, I just do not get all these complaining anti-EU faggots that came out of the woods in recent years. You had a veto for these procurement laws, you did not use it. HOWEVER, the EU is not a dictatorship, it does not force you to stay in it unlike Spain-Catalonia or USA-Southern states. You are free to fuck off any time, no questions asked. Brexit shows that it isn’t even economically a problem to leave the EU.

NO DENMARK
YOU SHALL NOT HAVE AN ARMY
COUNTRIES CANNOT HAVE AN ARMY
THIS IS WHY WE NEED AN EU ARMY TO DEFEND YOU
REEEEEEEEEE

Bad goyim! What do you need those weapons for!? Trust me shabbo, I'll protect you.

Also based Denmark. Their a sovereign nation that shouldn't heed the words of other nations. Whenever the EU acts like this its disgusting. Its like they believe all of Europe to be their vassals. I understand the EU is basically a peace treaty but is it really worth it if you can't even govern your own nation? Who truly runs the EU? Clearly not its EU members.

>Article 50
what did I just write you idiot? I wrote "countries that do not want to follow have two options: Get the fuck out or try and get a special deal"
is reading to hard now?
>you had a veto for these procurement laws, you did not use it
as far as I remember you are correct as it would require unanimous agreement to implement. However that does not matter to me at all since all it takes is one left wing government to sign all this crap and then its for life or leaving the union completely.
That is a major problem and the source of all the "anti-EU faggots" that you do not (((get))).
>You are free to fuck off any time
dont worry will do within the next decade. Last poll showed nearly 40% in support of leaving the EU. That is a rise of over 20% in just a decade.
Fuck the EU and fuck all that support it. I hate you people more than all the mudslimes and refugee rapists.

DANMARK VIL GRO STÆRKERE

>Who truly runs the EU?
A mix between Germany and France. The UK used to the third leg but now they are out.
The EU is not going to last long without the UK as they were the only one of the major countries that supported and thought of the minor powers.

Oy vey! Where is our cut, goyim?
That’s illegal, prepare to be fined 500 billion €

Have you misses the bitchfits, threats and demands of money EU has made in the wake of brexit?

Attached: B68DCF97-8290-440B-90C4-91665B365DAF.jpg (720x439, 56K)

My point was that you are complaining and are not fucking off. You say 40 percent want to leave, why are 60 percent wanting to stay? Are they all delusional liberals? If so, complain about your own compatriots, not the EU. For Christ’s sake, the cucked Brits were able to vote leave and nothing is happening to them. If your people aren’t inspired by Brexit, it is your people’s fault!

——-
The study by EU survey programme Eurobarometer shows that the percentage of Danes who have a positive opinion of the EU has risen from 32 to 42 percent in six months, while the proportion of negative opinions has fallen from 23 to 17 percent.

The rest are neutral or responded ‘do not know'.

Danes are also optimistic about the future of the EU, shows a new poll from Eurobarometer surveying 28,000 EU-citizens' view of the union.

Among Danish respondents, which total 1,016 people, seven out of ten answered that they are optimistic about the future of the EU. This makes Denmark one of the countries in the EU with the most optimists.

The Eurobarometer survey also shows that the percentage of Danes who believe the EU is heading towards a brighter future has increased from 57 percent in autumn of 2016 to 70 percent in the most recent survey.

And?

Is Denmark too pussy to leave? You can cry all you want but if you dont have the balls to leave then it really is all just useless sobbing. You could simply not pay or veto these laws in the first place.

Tough shit, Denmark chose this with its own actions

>danes love us and we can do whatever the fuck we want

t. EU

When the EU doesn't get its way it just forces people to vote again. Kinda like when they tried to convince people to devote for brexit and spread fear and doubt as well as pushing this divorce payment as if the UK has been one of the main contributors of funds for years.
Half of the EU members are just leeches. Germany and France are gonna have a tough time carrying them. Though its strange Now they're pushing for an EU army
I remember after brexit France mentioning the thought of themselves breaking away. If that happened the EU would truly be fucked.

>Have you misses the bitchfits, threats and demands of money EU has made in the wake of brexit?

I am reading the FT and Frankfurter Allgemeine, I generally avoid tabloid presses. As a result I am actually informed about Brexit. I also read relevant parts of the withdrawal treaty draft and EU guidelines - it is part of my job.

Based on these actual facts it is clear that Brexit is not really a problem for the UK and that the Brexir process is a rather good blue print for other countries to follow which want to leave the EU.

the “we” in your statement is the 27 governments of the EU, which includes the Danish and Swedish governments. You understand that the EU is ruled by the governments of the EU states, right?

Sticking to their guns is right.

If le pen had become the leader we'd be at that stage already.

No, it isn't.

>asking just 1000 people
And Hillary was due to win by 98%
Not really. Its ruled by elected officials. But their are a lot of unelected people that are involved in decision making... Right?(I really don't know/remember that's why I ask)
I genuinely want to know one good thing the EU has accomplished? I've honestly never heard of anything but regulations which I think ended with a milk crisis in france. Also the isolationist tariff's which shuns foreign goods for inferior more Romanian shit

EU laws are basically like your Apple EULA. Nobody reads them, just click accept.

Denmark denied license to buy tanks, given alternative choice by EU

Attached: th (5).jpg (474x396, 27K)

Look up "The Great Deception" PDF to learn about the murky origins of that communist institution.

>No, it isn't.

Yes, it is. The EU parliament has pretty much no power except voting shit the EU Council wants. The EU Council literally consists of the EU governments. And the EU Commission consists of people appointed by the EU governments.

Next time read how the EU works.

>I hate you people more than all the mudslimes and refugee rapists.
Amen to that! Fuck the EU

So, you're saying that EU governments can dictate to their commissioners how to vote?

UNBELIVEBLE! BAN DENAMRK FROM UNIOUN NOW!

fuck you, retard

eu = german leftist tyranny

>EU laws are basically like your Apple EULA. Nobody reads them, just click accept.
This actually. They hand out a 1000 page file with like 50 bills and regulations. Then tell you to make one vote to accept them all. Not even individually.
youtu.be/JMyYAUXLW7A
Check this to see how retarded the EU is and why its dangerous

based german

Lol remember Ireland and it's veto of the Lisbon treaty.
Clearly EU governments have a say.

Attached: 1482344466091.jpg (1462x1462, 340K)

>So, you're saying that EU governments can dictate to their commissioners how to vote?

This is what happens on a de facto level. Theoretically, a commissioner may act against the interest of the country he hails from... but this never happens. The German government gets weekly briefings from our commissioner and he is essentially a hired hand to do exactly what we want him to do and how we want him to vote. This is why we appointed him in the first place.

good fuck the fascist EU

>"go fuck yourself Euronigger".
this is the correct response

Attached: 1471140406009.png (600x600, 183K)

If Poland and Hungary can tell the Eu to go fuck off Denmark can and should too.

WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DECIDE TO BUY
>GENERAL DYNAMICS
Sorry for caps, but this is the most important part

Hope Denmark and Sweden leave the EU so we can form a Scandinavian union together with Norway instead for this cucked EU shit, Finland and Iceland/faroe islands/Greenland can join aswell into this union.
Why are you upset by this Germany? They are going to buy MADE IN GERMANY Leopards if iam not mistaken, This benefits Germany if any.

>I just do not get all these complaining anti-EU faggots that came out of the woods in recent years
oh yeah, how dare we complain about a fraudulent anti-democratic tyranny that has never had it's books signed off by their auditors?

Im glad we arent in EU. Its 4th Reich alright.

>When the EU doesn't get its way it just forces people to vote again
many such cases, sad

>You understand that the EU is ruled by the governments of the EU states, right?
no, it isn't, it's ruled by unelected beauraucrats

>Why are you upset by this Germany? They are going to buy MADE IN GERMANY Leopards if iam not mistaken, This benefits Germany if any.

I am generally opposed to government corruption, even if it benefits German companies. Corruption and unfair dealings by politicians is something that makes us weaker economically but more importantly morally.

Look at Greece, the situation they are in stems from not wanting to follow any normal rules of government, procurement or long term functioning policies... even though short term their actions benefitted their society.

From what iv read they are buying american and french, so ofcourse Germanistan is butthurt.

>oh yeah, how dare we complain about a fraudulent anti-democratic tyranny that has never had it's books signed off by their auditors?

Yes, how dare you.

1. Be member of a club
2. Vote on rules of the club
3. Complain about the rules of the club even though you can just exit the club

Sorry, what other word but faggots is there for these kind of people?

>Yes, how dare you.
germoney everyone, germoney

No wonder you yuro fuckers can't hold up your end of the bargain when it comes to NATO

Actually they are elected. Ever heard of european election?

the commission is elected? not appointed?

you are talking about MEPs, who can vote on legislation, but not propose any, all legislation has to be proposed by the commission

I fucking wish a nigga would. The EU has never been hot shit in denmark, so exposing normies to the sheer corruption of that dindu club will only benefit denmark.

Fucking DO IT, Germany

Attached: selfdefensesituation.jpg (640x640, 39K)

>no, it isn't, it's ruled by unelected beauraucrats

Why are people keep saying this bs? All the power in the EU lies in A. the EU Council made up of EU state governments (litterally the prime ministers, chancellors, presidents... or their ministers), B. appointed people from each of the EU state governments forming the EU commission, each commissioner voting in the EU commission always aligned with their governments (there hasn’t been a recorded incident in EU history in which a commissioner has voted against his own government’s position in the EU council... as in not once!), and C. the EU parliament which has no power to propose laws, but can only reject them or ask for amendments.

Where are these unelected bureaucrats which are supposed to rule the EU. Where? The power lies with Merkel, Macron etc., not with anyone else. This is why Juncker has to call Merkel and Macron constantly on any controversial subject to receive instructions... no joke.

Attached: E48F7061-C62B-468E-A006-418DEC9F4A7A.jpg (1349x1349, 352K)

Fair point, I agree with this except for the fact that i think Denmarks safety is worth more than some EU-bureaucracy, I hope Denmark gets an exempt for this specific case.
Denmark buying abrams? Trump really put pressure on Denmark then, I know for a fact that we did the same though, We decided to buy US Mim-104 patriot instead for the French/Italian Aster system.
It costs to be friends..

>there hasn’t been a recorded incident in EU history in which a commissioner has voted against his own government’s position in the EU council... as in not once!
and the rules are decided my a majority are they not?

how many countries are even net contributers? 3?4?

>the EU parliament which has no power to propose laws
I know, that's not democratic

Can't they just build their own murder submarines instead?

>the EU is not a dictatorship, it does not force you to stay
but ve vill make you pay if you leave ze EUurgh

>Eurobarometer
yeah I dont believe a single number those cunts come out with. The way they frame the questions in Danish shows how useless those polls are.

>but ve vill make you pay if you leave ze EUurgh

The UK has to pay very limited amouts. Until 2020 the EU will be de facto in the EU, so obviously all payments into the budget stay as is. After 2020, the UK does not have to pay much at all and actually receives back quite a bit (e.g. its EIB share). It is only tabloids making up large figures.

Pic related is the payment schedule... the tabloids obviously didn’t include the payments from the EU back to the UK past 2020 in the figures, because this would lower the dramatic effect...

Just as a comparison, the Trident system is 5 times the post 2020 costs.

>and the rules are decided my a majority are they not?

No, super majorities or unanimity. Pretty much never by simple majority.

And again, it is Merkel, Macron as well as the governments of Italy, Spain, Dutchland, Poland and until recently the UK which decided everything... with smaller governments having vetos. Everyone else in Brussels is completely irrelevant including Nigel Farage,

>Everyone else in Brussels is completely irrelevant
You're making a great case for disbanding the EU entirely

>Everyone else in Brussels is completely irrelevant
germoney ladies and gents, germoney

you didn't answer about how many net contributers there are

>how many countries are even net contributers? 3?4?

Who cares? I think it is 11 net contributors and 17 net recievers. The billions flowing from rich to poor states in the EU are pretty minor. There is three times more money flowing from Northern Italy to Southern Italy each year than all money flows through the EU in the entire European Union put together.

Not,to mention that the market access and high skilled immigratiom pays dividends back to the rich countries from the poorer ones.

Lol

>Who cares? I think it is 11 net contributors and 17 net recievers.
and the contributors and leeches get just as much say? seems fair

>high skilled immigratiom pays dividends
you don't have to be in the EU to have high skilled immigration, not that we have mostly high skilled immigration anyway

how are those rape gangs treating your citizens? germoney, thanks for all the rapes mamma merkle

Invite us, Belgium and Netherlands, too in a looser North Sea union

>The Eurobarometer survey also shows that the percentage of Danes who believe the EU is heading towards a brighter future has increased from 57 percent in autumn of 2016 to 70 percent in the most recent survey.
Ive now looked through the report and the specific Danish numbers and I cant find a single entry that state what you claim. Utter horseshit.
>seven out of ten answered that they are optimistic about the future of the EU This makes Denmark one of the countries in the EU with the most optimists
again the numbers are nowhere to be found. Either you are a lying snake or you just feed me EU propaganda lines.
>pic related is the closest question about this in the damn factsheet for Denmark

Attached: gagabab.png (1711x839, 219K)

>Belgium
nej

also look at the framing of this question and how the sum it up. Totally misleading if you do not read the factsheet behind the report.
Never trust anything that comes out the the EU asshole. Always check the numbers yourself.

I'm puzzled by this statement by the EU. I have dealt with military purchases to the danish government and there is a number of statues in danish law (incl our exemption from the EU-defense charter) that allow us to ignore EU tender regulations as we see fit, when it comes to defense acquisitions.
