Sheriff Evans' Lies Chapter 31

Sheriff Evans' Lies chapter 31 storytime.

...

Kek, thanks OP

...

...

It would be real villainous if these criminals ruined Evan's bedsheets.

Oakley is super cute this chapter. Also amazingly this mini arc is still going past the next chapter after this one.

...

Where the fuck is the cellar located if his house is elevated?

...

What are we going to do on the bed?

...

...

Seriously, where is that cellar located?

...

RIP

Credits page, because why not.

That's all for chapter 31.

It's not a secret cellar for nothing

>this chapter
She's a super cute dork, as usual.

Next ch : I can't believe Evans is dead.

>underneath the house is now a pitchblack shadow

Best girl Oakley

>tfw you will never have a cute girl be this happy just seeing your room.

these two

Just bang Oakley already.

REMOVE OAKLEY. She destroys the premise of the manga.

A moment of silence for his collection.

>Goes under cover
>Puts on an edgy version of his normal costume
Fuck yes

How well is this manga doing? Is it going to get axed?

Evans's house is fucking barren

Now that you mention it, why does he keep the eagle statue at the office instead of his house?

it's actually doing great, like awesome

So Oakley can see it.

THIS. fuck Oakley, don't turn this into another Kaguya

it should be illegal for someone to have this shit of taste

Imagine if Oakley dies

The premise is that they'll never get together because they're both too desperate, too thirsty, and too prideful

The premise is only ruined if they actually hook up, which they won't, ever, because that wouldn't be funny

I thought the premise of this manga was Evans' failed womanizing?

Now it's just cute pure love. Not that I'm complaining.

>implying
That could be plenty funny. Depends on how they go with it.

Both Oakley's introduction, and perhaps an eventual get-together, operate on the same principle - Don't keep the same dynamic for too long. A 150 chapter manga of Evans trying, and failing, to impress girls gets stale as shit. Introducing Oakley was a good way to diversify things. Gives another venue of conflict, and doesn't stop Evans from trying to impress other women. Recently, their relationship has been developing outside the workplace too, which is yet another paradigm shift. The same thing for too long gets dull.

Same with Kaguya, the humor doesn't end with a confession. So long as the characters have room to grow, the premise of the manga has room to grow too. Kaguya has since evolved from "Death Note of love" to be focused on more character drama and irony. It's simply how manga evolve, and if no progress happens there are no stakes for the readers. It becomes too predictable.

Any way you look at it, his house is raised and there's no cellar under there.

I love how it doesn't break immersion because we know it's going to be silly and the art's going to be spare.

Maybe it's just a very thin cellar.

>Lucks have
Is this a thing in British English like "Maths" is?

They could easily keep the manga going after Oakley and Evans hook up.

They just kill off Oakley one chapter later

You know there's zero chance of that happening, somebody would lynch the author of that.

What I think may be more likely is reintroduction of the criminal girl and journalist from the first few chapters. Since they reintroduced the one note villain, it's not impossible for them to come back. Maybe the train girl wasn't a once in a lifetime chance too.

>still no childhood Oakley and Evans chapter

>implying anyone doesn't want to see Clint Eastwood romance Annie Oakley

Oakley is cute!
CUTE!

>Not wanting to read 2 weekly Kaguyas
You madman

The only thing better than 1 weekly kaguya is two weekly kaguyas.
