Is Claymore the only good battle shounen with a medieval fantasy setting?

Is Claymore the only good battle shounen with a medieval fantasy setting?

Claymore isn't good.

>claymore ended 3 years ago
Damn

It was good up until the Battle in the North. Afterwards, it turned into a typical shounen fest.

Time flies.

>medieval fantasy setting

What does this meme even mean?

Are you retarded?

It was bad halfway done user.

Can't wait for his new manga

What makes Claymore medieval anything? Are castles and horse drawn carriages all it takes? Plate armor didn't reach its peak until like 200 years after the middle ages ended.

Bastard!!

>Bastard!!
>battle shounen

What else is it?

Kingdom
Slayers

I don't think it's shonen, it's seinen isn't it?

it means no one is going to bring a gun to a knife fight and horses are the best method of long distant travel because cars haven't been invented but you might see things out of the ordinary that don't pertain to technology like fantastic creatures or magic.

>no reading Hameln

Also
>Claymore
>good

It's a seinen.

No it isn't.

It was published in a shounen magazine. 3 different ones actually.

Claymore is great fuck you if you don't like it
Norihiro is our guy

Hamelin's translation is utter shit and unreadable.

Bastard was published in a shounen magazine.

Are you people actually fucking retarded

The word shonen is right in the title of the magazines where Bastard and Claymore were serialized, Weekly Shonen Jump and Monthly Shonen Jump

Bastard current publisher is Ultra Jump, a seinen magazine.

For very little of the actual series run, 22 of 27 volumes were shonen

Next you'll say Jojo was always a seinen

started good, then got kinda meh. which was a shame considering the idea was great.

Dietritch/ Miria are besto.

>Dietritch/ Miria are besto
Wrong

oh fuck I forgot her too.

What do you want it to be then? Post-apocalyptic Earth?

Most people in the west don't read manga out of a magazine, I assure you.

The Manga ending sucked

Nanatsu no Taizai is good.

so what ended up happening after the show?

anime ending was worse

I dropped it because the shirtless edgelord was annoying

Ubel Blatt is out there, but I'd be hard pressed to call it a battle shounen.

Would've been much more awesome if Claire ended up fighting an evil awakened Teresa.

well, if Claymore can be called as one

It was fine in my opinion
We all knew Claire was gonna kill Priscilla

They shouldn't have made Priscilla unstoppable though. Replacing body parts out of shere will, is on a whole other level of OP.

It's Superb.

I feel like this title doesn't get enough comparisons with Shingeki no Kyojin, as they have some notable similarities.
One thing unique to Claymore is the shipping was much better. Yagi can write attraction much better than Isayama. Clare x Raki was very satisfying even though it logically shouldn't have happened.
