Why did he choose this whore again instead of the childhood friend?

Why did he choose this whore again instead of the childhood friend?

Because the point of the story was stop clinging to anime tropes and get a real girl

Because their hairstyles are similar so they were clearly meant for one another.

She was the only one who actually gave Keima any character development.

it was sickening to see the time travel bullshit goddesses throw at him. Basically played him for years to save their skins. And you want one of them to be rewarded with the mc-bowl. HELL no.

don't watch shitty harems.

Confirmed for WORST SERIES EVER.

I wanted him to be rewarded with a harem.

>"real girl" was the biggest cunt out of all of them

She was the best girl.

because she was the only one who loved before even pulling his dating sims move on her + she was the most average one with nothing spacial about her but because of that she is the only girl that he can't have in a game
also this

Because she was the one he actually loved.

This. She was an actual person instead of a caricature, and her feelings were real.

Or atleast his teacher as some side action.
She deserved better.

Only get into a sexual relationship if you can stomach the possibility of losing your friend forever if it doesn't work out.

Childhood friend is just another very common game trope, Katsuragi says so himself. Chihiro is a type of girl he's never seen, as you wouldn't find her in a game. Also she loves him for real

Season 4 when bros?

>guy is more attracted to the real girl with positives and negatives instead of the perfect boring moeblobs
really activates my almonds

>people itt didn't pay attention to the series
Keima straight of said he did not see Tenri as the childhood friend archetype. The best answer is he never say Tenri as a potential love interest at any point.
>point of the story
Wrong, it's not didactic. It's about a hardcore nijikon learning to accept things and move outside his comfort zone. That applied to every character since Keima starts as an insular person, with Chihiro best representing the world outside his own. Someone like Chihiro proves she too can be a heroine in her own right. No one is perfect or "boring" is the selfish perception that Keima himself had to grow out of so he could enjoy life outside his games.

I rooted for Chihiro end but the fanbase is really terrible. Why would you touch the series if you hate anime tropes and what else? The MC is a 2d otaku from beginning to end; he enjoyed the experience of capturing hearts first-hand and feeling things he never felt, just as we did. "Fuck 2D" is a stupidly cynical and downright hypocritical take on the series.

He never stops loving his games. That's something that really helps the ending.

Well, it's not like he can't enjoy both 2d and 3d. He didn't have to completely change as a person to grow as one.
