Genocidal Organ (Gyakusatsu Kikan) Movie is out with english subs.
I loved the movie. Easily 9/10. More than I liked Blade Runner 2049.
Did you like it?

Why the fuck are you cross-threading a dead thread nobody responded to?
i don't know. probably because no one will answer this one either, so i might as well show other people's opinion.
DL'ed it earlier, was on my watchlist for a while.
I legitimately think I might watch this dubbed though. From what I heard the dub is actually pretty decent and it makes sense instead of going from English > Japanese > English.
Pretty good, posted a bunch of webm before.
can you find the threads with the webm, i couldn't find it in the archives or in desuarchive.

if you liked the movie watch the others inspired in the books of the same author:

>The Empire of Corpses
Harmony is great, too: 9/10
Looks like I didnt post webm no 10.
I'm watching it now. I'm about halfway through. I like the story and the pacing is pretty good, in my opinion, but the animation and actual action sequences are lacking so far.
is this Sup Forums?
Finished it now. That was quite good, actually. Definitely more of a thinking movie than an action movie. And it had one of the more compelling villain narratives that I've seen in a while. "Make them kill each other so they won't kill us" is the kind of fucked up shit that crosses the line into "evil but reluctantly understandable". The action also picked up later on. I feel like the "forsaking liberty for security" plot line was dropped a bit, but considering that was more of the side character's schtick, I can understand why it wasn't necessarily an essential theme later on. All in all, I'd say 8/10.
So Japs shit on burgers foreign policy as usual.
Interesting in the sense that it really shows how different anime will become when financed by America. It sort of reminded me of 80s/90s shows that were heavily influenced (copying a lot) by American sci-fi and action from back then.
This is sort of an updated and very niponic version of Universal Soldier.
OP, I don`t think you`ll find a discussion here since it isn`t based on famous manga/light novel and it doesn`t have cute lolis (inb4 webm of loli being showered in bullets). My best bet would be to talk to people who like GitS instead. They are the ones who might enjoy this one.
What was up with the ending? Did all of humanity get robbed of their free will? Is Tuan a computer now or something?
John Paul did nothing wrong.
He got caught.
Yeah, except for humans who lived outside the admedistrations and thus didn't have the nanomachines.
Technically speaking she's not a robot or anything, just a human who lacks a consciousness.
Burger pls.
Then what was with that terminal that was narrating things since the beginning of the movie?
I assume it was just their visual metaphor for peoples' consciousnesses, not like a physical terminal that exists somewhere.
