Something that has been bugging me for a long time. Are the NPC's of Nazerick fully aware they are NPC's and Ainz is from a game world and they now all find themselves in a new world? I remember Ainz telling Albedo he literally programmed her to love him and she did not seem phased at all. Is it a standing acknowledgement that means nothing or did he hand wave that aspect of the plot away to avoid having to write around it?
Jaxson Hill
No, they don't know the concept of the game and NPC's. They think they were created by Supreme Beings and "programmed" basically means "some tweaking made by gods".
Isaiah Jones
You can say that all NPCs were born yesterday and it will not be inaccurate. Most of their lives(if you can call it that) were spent inside the game, everything they know is based on what they saw and on their settings. This is why there is a lot of misunderstandings about the nature of supreme beings, like Shalltear assuming that seyiu are the literal creators of life. And this is also why they use the in-game terms unironically, they don't know other language. In other words, every single one of them is still a child.
Liam Evans
>In other words, every single one of them is still a child. And Papa Ainz no goal is trying to make them proud, be the ultimate being they see him as, and understand the machinations of demiurge and albedo and all the heads of nations of which see him as 9 steps ahead for any action he takes.
Cooper Reyes
I love the Ainz Nendoroid.
I hope we get a short story or something about the Six Great Gods, since one of them was most likely another Overlord, and was only worshipped out of fear and for protection. Were the six of them guildmates or friends, or just random players who may not have even known each other before they were sent to the NW, I wonder? I like the idea of these five Human race players having an evil, immortal skeleton friend that they have to reign in, kind of like an inversion of the Nazarick dynamic.
Easton Lee
I'm not at the end of the current novel but is it revealed the 6 gods are actual players?
The situation I anticipation was a delayed time lapse scenario. Where the other actual players still logged in during the shut down were transported as Ainz was but several hundred years before hand. Ainz being late due to glorious nippon lag or whatnot. Causing the fraction of a second to result in hundreds of years of delay entering the new same old but actual real magic world of maybe fantasy. Long after the players did their own bit and it lead to only a few players remaining alive waiting for Ainz to come to complete some kind of spell to free them.
Caleb Bell
Speaking of short stories, did you hear the news? Maruyama is having a new one >不死者のohに短編を載せていただきました!
Adam Evans
I don't remember what confirmed the gods were players, it was probably something PDL said, but I got the idea in my head from something, and only canon would convince me.
Anthony Jackson
Oh shit, a Narberal story? Should be fun.
Connor Scott
I think you misunderstood a little, that's a cover for a gag manga that comes out on 1st january. Short story is a bonus to it. Judging by Murayama tweets, it's most likely about the homunculi maids and Tsuare. I recall that the human maids are supposed to arrive in Ainz's new palace.
Nathaniel Rivera
Nice, haven't heard from them in a while.
Liam Rivera
>Are the NPC's of Nazerick fully aware they are NPC's and Ainz is from a game world and they now all find themselves in a new world? It's not like we humans know how we and our universe came to be. We are just NPCs in Jesus' Isekai story.
Benjamin Campbell
>I'm not at the end of the current novel but is it revealed the 6 gods are actual players? It's heavily implied that they are. Their descendants, the Black Scripture, are more powerful than most Adamantite groups, which implies that the 6 gods were max level players, most likely a small group that was playing together prior to the shutdown. The Slane Theocracy borrows a lot of Earth-based religions.
Jose Smith
>We are just NPCs in Jesus' Isekai story. Mind blown. Unusally smart and mature as a kid, got ton of kickass powers, god tier charisma, hacked even death. Just like every reincarnator in isekai novels.
Zachary Brooks
Oh, and he came to this world to beat demon lord. Tfw Bible was isekai novel al along.
Charles Nguyen
Not everything is about you having sex with your dad's wife.
Lincoln Robinson
>Jesus You mean Adam.
Logan Reyes
>Adam >no superpower >no purpose >lived his life in poverty couse he screwed up >no harem, Lilith cucked him Worst isekai protag ever
Brayden Turner
Slane Theocracy holding multiple world class items also points to the gods being players
Zachary Hughes
>Adam Even Mohammed would be a more interest protagonist.

I always wonder, what can Ainz do if some day Climb really gets World Savior?
Christopher Taylor
How would one adapt the new testament as a modern Isekai anime? Is Mary as a female cast sufficient, or just genderbend all the apostles? I don't even remember their personalities, do they have a tsundere, kuudere, tomboy etc.? What about the antagonists?
Charles James
No, they know they are created but not about ainz being a humie. They also have free will as stated in one of the side stories so they’re with ainz because they want to be, betrayal is also possible because of that.
Adrian Young
What is Albedo Hiding in her closet that no maids are allowed in?
Carter Powell
Does that mean no vol 13 in Jan? fuck.
Wyatt Thomas
Why did you assume that?
Owen Brown
Beg for mercy.

Saint Peter as yandere. Saint Thomas is tsun. Saint John is kind hearted naive boy, wishes senpai to notice him. John the Baptist is wise and loyal one. For more harem shenanigans we can add pharisee himedere girl. Because Saint Paul is an outsider, Peter's yan yan power skyrockets thus creating their rival relationship. Lot of shenanigans in whole series, especially first season. Simon the sorcerer is that creepy turncoat noone likes, not surprisingly he creates huge mess in Rome. Major antagonist in second season. No need for third season, just insert Mel Gibson's Passion to cut expenses. Fourth season is Longinus adventures, pretty much christian version of Chu Chulainn legend. Can as well jump the Fate train.
Luke Gonzalez
Because it’s not coming out in dec (the cover would be out) and he’s working on side stories now.
Caleb Richardson
Would Albedo's karma value change if she gets Ainz dick and kids?
Aiden Walker
Make it a VN with four routes where you romance Matthew, Mark, Luke and John with a hidden fifth route for Judas
Tyler Bell
Just re-watched the Ainz Vs Shaltear fight. Despite the mountain of information that is left out and some very lazy animating, I think I could have gone way worse.
tldr read the damn novels.
Parker Butler
Mohammed was a conquering general prophet, how would that not be interesting? You say ''even mohamed' but he's pretty top tier as far as these isekai options go
Luke Allen
Ainz can just ask her to change alignment Really? I recall from author twitter that he actually wrote the vol13-14 long ago or something can someone confirm?. And that the release date depends on publisher. I think it's most likely that the vol 13 will come out together with the season 2.
Jace Long
So is "puppet who's strings were cut" a reoccurring gag reference of the author, lazy or misinterpreting translator, or the author really fucking loving to use that phrase?
It appears like 25 times to describe someone dying.
