He's a DESTROYER

>He's a DESTROYER
>omg wow
>Uh, here's the king of the galaxy
>omg wow!
>Well uh, here's the king of ALL of the universes
>OMG WOW
How long until we find out that there's many sets of the 13 universes and there's a king of that too?

Zeno is just a child, Just wait until you meet his parents and their personal mega universe with the greatest fighters in existence. Each fighter can easily use Ultra Instinct.

But wait, what's this? Could this be super saiyan ultra instinct blue-white 4?

how crazy would it be if there is many sets of 13 universes and many sets of those, and many sets of those, and so on a couple times until finally the king of all those is mr popo and closes the loop

yfw dragonball is in an endless fractal of powers and deity that constantly increase in magnitude

Only if we have three arcs of Goku training to fight him plus another six arcs of the actual fight. After the aforementioned six, it'll turn out he wasn't using his full power and then Goku goes and trains some more

Makes sense desu

Also pad 60% of the airtime with flashbacks

a limit doesnt mean shit, capeshit did well for decades without having to think in bigger limits to break.

The power scale hasn't increased since Zeno was introduced almost 80 episodes ago. That's more consistency that DBZ had.

capeshit just resets everything everytime a major event happens or just creates another universe for those heroes to do it all over again

Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan 3 Ultra Instinct Kaioh Ken x9000 when?

Capeshit makes even the dumbest of shounen look well-written and consistent

Just like what happened with supper and the better timeline only that this time they made it worse by telling dbz fans about the existence of cannons.

I wasn't saying it was a bad thing. I'm actually all for Akira passing on the torch and eventually giving it to multiple writers who can branch off in multiple directions with different universes. Maybe then the fans will be more happy since there will be more stories to follow and pick from.

>timeline where gohan becomes what gohan fans wanted him to be
>timeline where its the goku show again
>timeline where goku is given less spotlight and returns to an ensemble cast
>etc

better than changing well known facts of the original series 2 decades later because they felt like it.

> capeshit doesn't have retcons

This shit is the reason why I hate the escalation in this series. Toriyama constantly has to one-up everything and now it's getting ridiculous.

> "What happens after Goku beats the Demon King twice? Better go to space!"
>"What happens when a galactic tyrant and his super clone are defeated? It's time for Gods and Deities!"
>"What happens after Goku defeats evil incarnate? More Gods!"

So every single person agrees that they shouldn't have introduced a dozen universes right off the bat?

>alternate universes
>retcons

2 universes was good enough, we never got to see u6 and that shit was going through war, it had enough material to work with and could still sustain the series to this day.

black arc was essentially a u7 thing.

explain why they separated in buu

They shouldn't have introduced the strongest fighters from every universe right off the bat if anything. Now there is no reason to explore the rest of the multiverse.

I wouldn't have minded it if the show actually explores those universes instead of pitting all of their "strongest" warriors in a battle royale to the death.

well to be honest, there was no reason to explore u7 before and then they made gt.

ToP are the strongest characters that the gods and kais know about, so there could be other characters with great potential or a type of chi that can't be senseed, etc.

There is also the universes that where erased previously and 4 of the universes didn't even participate in the ToP so who knows what type of powers are in those universes.

also there is a chance that a future villain could be an angel or some form of deity again, or freeza again

Just DC.
Marvel rolls with it.
Hell, marvel is famous for their labyrinthine yet complete and logical explanations and "cosmic" fuckery.

If you tried to pass of Super's story in a Marvel comic the editor would have you fired and blackballed. God knows what Shooter would do to them.

>They shouldn't have introduced the strongest fighters from every universe right off the bat if anything
It's the same shit Toriyama did during the Frieza saga. Hey let's go to space! Btw this is the king of the galaxy and the most powerful being ever.

because this is dragon ball and we cant have interesting stuff going on.

Vegettorot is not interesting in the least user.
He's bullshit broken.

It sucks there too. Freiza shouldn't be considered the strongest in the galaxy. It limits the narrative potential.

There was nothing stating that he was ACTUALLY the most powerful being ever. Only that he's currently the strongest being they've ever faced.
And showing a seemingly unbeatable person/situation/obstacle in a story been a thing in basically every single shounen or action or drama based anything ever created.

The ToP should not have taken place because it's poorly planned marketing trash that no one is hyped for.

The ToP should have been sheleved till after they went on an adventure between all of the universes. Looking for the Super Dragon balls and to find the creator of the dragon balls.

It should have ended with GP telling them that he had them find them not just for safe keeping but to be the prize in a new multiverse tournament. One that is set in various universes and has various rules and various tiers.

buu saga was half gag half creepy homicides.

the power levels were just a gimmick, the real fun was watching the character fighting in silly and creative ways.

vegetto making fun of buuhan was a good use of the character.
nowadays vegetto is exactly what you said and how he will be remembered, as a bullshit broken fusion.

Toriyama couldn't end the manga with Vegito

Except back then Goku and Vegeta sacrificed themselves to create Vegito unlike now where there's no drawback at all

THIS.

They should've shortened the universes to 7 so that each of the 7 SDBs are hidden in each of them.

>There was nothing stating that he was ACTUALLY the most powerful being ever.
Yeah ignoring the fact that he was the fucking emperor of the damn universe. I don't care if you hate Super but don't try to pretend it doesn't share flaws with Z.
Of course Frieza is an obstacle, but at the same time he is a very convenient excuse. How do you make Goku the strongest in the universe without actually making him fight millions of warriors? You make him defeat the emperor of the universe.

>vegetto making fun of buuhan was a good use of the character.
A character so powerful that he can afford to dick around like that with anyone doesn't work in DBZ user.
Especially if they are a proactive lead.

>So every single person agrees that they shouldn't have introduced DBS?

ftfy

dragon ball super is a fucking stupid show for children to dumb to grow up

See you next week.

>the fact that he was the fucking emperor of the damn universe
How in the fuck did you know that he was the emperor of the fucking universe?
Hell there was a guy who called himself the most powerful being to ever live and he wasn't even piccolo sr. level.
Was he telling the truth?
Of course not.

They could have easily said that he was just a boastful little pissant and he only ruled a portion of a single small galaxy.

Stop being a narrative retard.

They only added the strongest heroes. There might be villains in other universes worth fighting. Also we haven't seen 4 of the universes.

Toriyama wanted the series to end there. SJ is the reason Dragon Ball has been drawn out to this extent. If you don't see that, well...

dragon ball and samefagging are the best duo ever on this board.

>and deity that constantly increase in magnitude
Well, Toriyama did say in one interview that he was that guy known for always pulling new gods (designs) outta his hat all the time. Also robots.

At least DC is finally taking steps to undo a lot of the bullshit by having Dr Manhattan basically retcon the multiverse

Well from universes it probably move to realities, and make as many realities needed to get 100 episodes out of. Then after that probably have bug arc villains with super sentai level final villain names (Dai Satan, Absolute God N Ma, etc.) fall into the story directly out of Toei's ass.
Either that or Super Hero Time sucks up all the ratings and DBS slowly withers away.
