That's my home state, and I still love it(unions drove me out though, fuck that shit and income taxes). I grew up in rural Maryland though, which like rural Florida, is a far cry from more urban ares.
The problem with Maryland is, the state is small and three counties dictate policy for everyone else with a sealed fist. Here in Florida, the decent people still have power and a voice. It's almost the opposite, where the city faggots are all isolated and the rural areas have more overall power in Tallahassee.
