Gen 1 Pokemon has terrific designs (most of them). Not too complicated, round and cute, and resembled actual animals. Kyubey has a similar aesthetic.

What makes sensei so marketable? Is it the dead fisheyes? The oblong shape of his head? Or maybe it's his simple color pallet?
