One was killed but legend says he went out like a true marine slaughtering rival Cartel members left and right with an AR15 left and right before finally being gunned downed. But that is just family lore and probably exaggerated. What is for sure is that he did get gunned down in a big fire fight. The other one lived a fast life in Mexico as well, got arrested a few times and was sent to the US. Served a few years and got out. Has some crazy ass stories of both time in Iraq and in Mexico.There is a lot of vets fighting on both sides of the drug war, I am pretty sure this dude is one of them
