This piece of shit party full well realizes they need to take drastic measures now or fade into obscurity since GroenLinks has stolen the entire left wing with their climate change bullshit. I predict the PvdA will try to win back voters by taking over PVV talking points on immigration.
Would you vote PvdA if they take a hard line on immigration? They might as well since they lost their refugee voters to DENK anyway. I wouldn't vote for them since they're commies in disguise but thank fuck the pendulum is swinging back. Mainstream parties adopting these views is a very good sign. For the first time in years I feel like maybe things are going to be OK.
They'll move to merge with GL & SP this or next year. PvdA is dead if they don't.

The Socialdemokratiet (The danish party) have never been massive fans of immigration or multiculturalism. They are just fans of high taxes and the welfare state. Our anti immigration party are just Socialdemocrats who value homogeneity over taxes and welfare. The right wing in Denmark is a small minority about 30% the last nearly fifty years. Now that Socialdemokratiet have put immigration above taxes our immigration party (Danish peoples party) is getting destroyed in the next election since there is no reason for it anymore.

I'm parroting the Nieuwsuur item that was on Dutch TV yesterday that I posted in the OP. Not sure how much of it you can understand as part of it is in Dutch. This is my point though. Our SD (PvdA) could win back votes from our People's Party (PVV) by adopting their immigration stance. Considering how BTFO they got in the last 2 elections this might be their only way to survive. And since prominent old PvdA members are already publicly testing the waters, they might be open to it.

The main reason SD was less harsh on immigration was that they had to get a majority with the other left wing parties while DF (Danish peoples party) chose to support the small right wing (since they were so small DF could more or less get what they wanted). The party that changed danish politics to be anti immigration and pro assimilation was a party back in the 90s called Fremskridtspartiet. They dont exists anymore as they splintered into other parties. All SD is doing now is realizing that they dont have to be in a coalition with the other left wing parties. They can just work with DF and our centralist parties (V, K and R).

yes it is. Because right now it appears that they are actually gaining seats from other left wing parties and the centralist parties. The next election will show if they can manage to steal votes from DF
