My family runs a convenience store that's open 24/7 and we pretty much had to fire all the women we'd hired for the nightshirt due to them acting like utter animals.
The thing is they'll apply for a job knowing it has shit pay and knowing they'll be put on the night shift, yet they always end up fucking acting like little shits to customers and complain about the fact that they have to work in the early hours of the morning.

Can confirm. Pizza place I work at is open til 3 on the weekends. Late night walk in customers are usually assholes. Late night deliveries are hit and miss. Sometimes they tip well, sometimes it's exact change. Or sometimes when you get there, in a lot of cases in only 20 minutes because it's the only delivery, they are passed the fuck out and won't answer the door or their phone. You just gotta roll with the punches. No matter how irritated I get, I don't let it show outwardly. In all honesty, its a fun job and I love it. It's actually a bummer that I'm gonna have to go back to my old 100+ hour a week job soon. I just can't get by on pizza guy money. It's been a nice break from reality though.
