Should I buy gold?
I have about 15k saved up with nothing to spend it on. I'm also worried about another economy crash (student loan, housing, etc...)
Is using all my savings to buy gold a good idea?

I would do it. The world is moving back onto Gold and Silver.
Just buy food water, ammo and survival gear.
Yes
Terrible idea.
I would invest it in the stock market.
I'm not sure about the USA but here in aus, you can buy custom stock packages depending on your wishes eg high dividends, high growth or balanced.
Invest partially in gold but you want to keep a diverse portfolio. Unlike countries, diversity is actually a strength here.
Gold will be worthless by 2020
>Gold will be worthless by 2020
Oh yeah I'm sure electronics will be absolutely unwanted by the year 2020.
Doesn't stock become worthless if the economy goes to shit?
It's generally a better idea to diversify your money into different other things, like gold/silver, oil, real estate, hard physical cash in case one of those things tank, you won't lose all of your investments in one go.
gold and silver are the way to go. if youve already got you shtf storeroom stocked then you might want to buy a shitton of luxury items to barter with ---- coffee, sugar (an user here bought pallets of the shit and shrinkwrapped them up), chocolate, liquor. you might want to click over to homedistiller.org and learn some madskillz
Buy land
do you want to make a few pennies over the course of a decade? Sure buy gold; if you wanna double your money in a few weeks like a man go buy some dank in Colorado and drive it out East.
Also don't get ripped off or killed

>buy gold
>economy crashes
>government makes owning gold illegal
>seizes everyone's gold
>everyone is poor now
FDR did it during the Great Depression. It'll happen again, and everyone who bought gold will be fucked.
Buy canned food, dried beans and bullets.
If it ever gets to the point that you will see any major return on an investment in gold you will be better served having a good supply of guns, ammunition, food, seeds for planting, and a small reserve of whisky to trade for any other items you might need.
partly true it was taken from bank deposit boxes they were given say $10/ounce then the govt said gold is now worth $20/ounce so people had to pay more to buy back their original gold. I believe ((jew))elers and artists that used gold did not have to "give" the gold to the govt.
The exodus into space relies on gold for shielding and electronics.
As Africa plunges into a war soon the price will be over 2K an ounce.
Half in gold half in silver.
Buy Crypto
naw man... buy some bank stocks. wells fargo, bank of america, citigroup, and jp morgan.
>buy high sell low
Don't listen to this guy OP - this is the WORST possible time for you to be buying stocks.
Gold and silver are okay if you want to keep your money safe for now.
IT'S "LOSE" NOT "LOOSE" YOU FUCKING RETARD
>he fell for the mutual fund meme
How does it feel to essentially make the same as you would if you just stuck it in a savings account, only you have to pay rabbi Goldstein for the fucking privilege?
History repeats itself. It always has and gold/ silver will be the best investment someone can do
>not investing in cryptocurrency
it's like you want to stay poor
Fucking niggers man, I tell you hwat
>this
Buy brand new collectable items that nerds love such as videogames. Leave them sealed and store somewhere.
They will lose value in the beggining, but later on their value will keep increasing,
this. the new gold rush.
Don't do this.
It relies on the assumption that future generations will be man-children. Like how grandma assumed that her descendants would be civilized aspirational white people that would appreciate a fine china tea set or an antique armoire.
Don't be like Grandma.
