What went wrong?

What went wrong?

Democratic Space warped.

China

not enough people wanted to fuck a horse

The adaptation was pretty awful, hey completely ran out of budget, not like they had any to begin with.
I wish at least the manga was more talked about on Sup Forums. Too bad threads about manga that aren't bestsellers just die immediately.

They die cuz most of Sup Forums are pirate fags.

People these days don't like FREEDOM enough.

I read through all the manga recently, some of it is so weird. Didn't realise how much they jumped around in the anime and skipped so much. Have to wonder why they chose such weird chapters to animate, like the concentration camp one with the Frog dude.

It was fine and underrated.
Hopefully season 2 since chinks actually care about sequels.

They didn't color this Chi-chan's undergarments correctly and it doesn't look like they're going to fix it for the bds.

I genuinely liked it, though I know I'm in a minority. The quality of the art let the side down though.

Pic releated
I did as well, but I never expect a panel by panel retelling of the source material anyway.

They cheap out big time by having China animate it

People didn't understand if she's more horse than a man or more man than a horse.

Eh, the anime being a mediocre adaptation like many other mediocre anime adaptation is not really that complaint-worthy.
It's not like the manga source material is that awesome. It is in the end just a very niche monster girl manga.
But it is nice, and I really like it, so I'm mostly glad that it did get an adaptation in the first place that made people talk about it again.

>expect SoL about monster girls
>get a creepy SoL set in a politically correct dystopia where the state can send citizens to reeducation camps and eldritch reptilians from Antarctica try to manipulate the world powers through deceit and autistic manipulation belying their inhuman mindset

Back when translations were still posted here this manga got its discussion just fine.

If only she were goat sized.

...

I really like Hime's stories she tells her little cousin about democracy-enabling adventurers and wise black goats that become emperors of an enemy kingdom that gets then reformed into a normal socialistic nation.

This. No thanks!

>anons are in a position to turn down anything.

I guess this campaign never happened in hexapod-ville.

Poor animation and niche appeal

They made a faithful adaptation and didnt get to the Isekai part.

shes CUTE

...

...

the manga itself is very flawed to begin with.

i commend the author for maybe trying to do something new, but the tone is so all over the place that it feels very inconsistent. the majority is just typical SoL fluff but then they'll talk about war tension, discrimination and slavery which is such a whiplash. characterization is pretty bland too, with really isn't helped by the author's inability to draw facial expressions.

It better not be raining dead slime-monsters in the BD version.

It was okay

It will be. They're not changing anything except removing the light-beams. If they were really making it a definitive version they would have recolored Hime's body orange since she's supposed to be bottomless.

Why is she putting that on when she's not covering anything to begin with?

Lightbeam removal would improve a lot, but I want Hime's boing-boing running wild and free at least once.

...

In the manga, she does have something to cover. Anyway, according to the mermaid guys, lightbeaming her in that scene would have made it even more pedolicious.

It wasn't exclusively about the class president and the chisters.

Sassassul's date didn't go into anime only territory inside the love hotel.

I like how she looks at the reader with an expression of 'why are you watching me change?'

So, real life?

Hime and Co. are even better than the real thing, user.
