a lot of old people think of the bbc as people did in the second world war, and immediate aftermath (i.e. as a trustworthy source of important news)
you never hear anything really unless it's pro-government propaganda, or something equally false about the united states, china, france, germany or russia most other places don't get mentioned, bar the odd reference to reasonably powerful nations like india or australia

I can make it easier - any MSM, being propaganda outlet and all that, has fake news. The way to counter this is either have several news sources that often say different things about the same news, or research and use your brain.
