I just read Elliot Rodger's manifesto, and I have to say, I'm unimpressed.
I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't what I got.
Maybe media has given me hightened expectations for the intelligence and loquaciousness of these violent psychopaths, but Rodger's writing was... bad. He wrote like a melodramatic teenage girl. The damn thing is called "My Twisted World" for God's sake.
I guess this thread is: if all spree killers wrote manifestos, what do you think they'd look like?

He wasn't really acting politically, he was just acting on his feels. It's not really a manifesto. Feminists pushed the meme that he was an MRA, but they knew full well that he wasn't and they could just tar MRAs with him because no one knew what an MRA was.
He didn't even have enough insight to work out a plan to get what he wanted or even see what was wrong with him. Anything he said about society was simply done because he wasn't looking at himself.
I will always cherish the memory of that delicate moment when I reminded a female acquaintance who cried "muh rape culture" that Elliot died a virgin.

I read it but liked it because I related with him on aspergers ruining your chances at being socially successful in life and being excluded by other people and only having "friends" who hang out with you from time to time because they feel bad for you.

Having read his manifesto, I think it needs to be required reading to understand the depravity of the modern man's condition, suffering under the matriarchy. It shows the depths of suffering that normal men face now, and the lengths to which they will go to lash out for that.
I know it's written by a teenager, but it has good insight to what I know a lot of young men feel.
