How do we innovate the time travel genre?

How do we innovate the time travel genre?

>How do we innovate the time travel genre?
How about making the characters involved live with the fuck ups they make when traveling through time without any way to fix it.

Add lolis and traps.

I would say, making an Ever17's anime but that would be imposible to adapt.

stop with time loops

Put a hikkikomori in a fantasy world and make him revive three days before every time he dies.

>>live with the fuck ups they make when traveling through time without any way to fix it.
That could be intersting
>make MC fuck something up and kill [loved character]
>the time machine gets broken because of fuck up
>no way to go back

Someone else has the time machine and the MC has to stop it.

>MC isn't aware whatever or not the guy used the time machine
kino

so basically Fire Punch?

Send yourself back in time to breed with cave women!

Two bodies have two separate time machines, and it's not a many-worlds interpretation of time travel theory. Hijinks ensue as two opposing sides vie for control over the fourth dimension.

Easy mode: two students
Hard mode: two countries
Extra mode: two planets

It's a love-comedy where a boy falls in love his senpai, except she doesn't notice his feelings. The boy finds out she has a crush on Chadsuke, and plans to confess. Through a miracle of serendipity, he finds he has the ability to send messages back in time! Will he be able to get his senpai to notice him, before she confesses to Chadsuke?

The twist is that he was Chadsuke all along.

>hetshit
dropped

>not a many-worlds interpretation
Then it's hard to make it cohesive and consistent

Innovation is hard. That's why there is not enough innovation in modern anime.

If Steins;Gate ended with tragedy and didn't bring Kurisu back, have Okabe forced to live with his decision of attempting to play God for the rest of his life.

By mixing it with body swaps and semi-reverse traps, and by adding bunch of superheroes, secret organizations and talking cats to the story

That only makes it worse.

Time travel isn't a genre, it's a plot element. SFF is a genre.

The VN covered that abundantly.

More legs and and stockings.

You don't because the OP pic already perfected it

Play Steins;Gate 0

Go back in time before it was explored as much as it has.

its not that serious you autist

Steins;Gate 0 is about Okabe learning to overcome the trauma of failing to save Kurisu, and then eventually figuring out how solve the problem. That's the opposite of what I had in mind, which is end the series at Fake Verthandi and leave the ending at a cliff hanger.

So go back in time in real life?

What you had in mind sucks, desu.

innovate ≠ improve
