Really weird to see that VEG is only #7, you would have expected it to be in the top 3 at least. Also, sad to see Slow Start so low, I guess it's gonna live up to its name.

JUDGEMENT

KNIGHTS

Nice to see the japs appreciate good stuff like Saiki

Is Slow Start really that unpopular?

Japan can see an overhyped disappointment from a mile away.

Hey guys

yes because only retarded pinoys like you would watch it

O-OFFU TERUHASHI-SAN

Which is?

Nah, I'm not even sure if I'll even watch it. From what I read, the views on the manga are mixed to say the least.

I thought I was the only person on Sup Forums that liked Saiki Kusou.

Seems a majority of respondents were female so that might explain why the show isn't that popular over here (given that most Sup Forumsnons are male).

>1. The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. - 848 votes
Based nips not having shit taste for once.

violet evershit confirmed for flopdragon sales

You aren't the only one my dude.

Saiki is that popular?, I had no idea, must be a Teruhashi fans at it.

Nah, considering the hype it's gotten and the apparent positive reception it's gotten from the people who saw the first few episodes, the worst case scenario is that it will sell Hibike numbers.

Shit's good, it just seems unpopular around Sup Forums

>he’s not a Teruhashi fan

it’s not unpopular, there’s literally nothing to discuss about Saiki other than watch him suffer from bunch of idiotic friends

Someday I will take Saiki out of my backlog, someday...

O MY OVERHYPED SHIT

it’s unpopular in the west, nobody bothers to scanlate the manga and we’re probably a hundred chapters behind already

t. dark reunion lackey

>other than watch him suffer from bunch of idiotic friends
That's all you got from the show? I mean yeah it's primarly just comedy but it still has some character progression, like Saiki getting more positive about his life as his friends accept him just for what he is, Teruhashi also turns from a basic bitch to actually caring about other people (even if still narcissistic)

>1. The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. - 848 votes
Same

>tfw just refinished rewatching and rereading the series
It's pretty damn fun. The characters especially grow on you.

>he’s not a Mera fan

Except the magician.
What an amazingly piece of shit

Comedian magician was legit, too bad the retard decided to be a shit regular magician again

>ywn happily feed poor-chan with your leftovers

Good show rarely discussed on Sup Forums
Thank god for that

Is anyone else surprised at how low VEG is?

Dagashi Kashi was so boring. The only appeal was the female waifu bait

Do they know winter 18 could be the worse season?

Saikis latest arc is fucking amazing. It a shame that no one will translate it

Will Fate Extra have fem hakunon and burn redman?

It's weird that Saiki is unpopular in the west while Prison School (another JC Staff comedy) was really popular, it's the power of fanservice?

I think it was because it was a short, no one cares about shorts.

People cared about Aho Girl, KMB, and Luluco.

Did people outside of Sup Forums even care about Aho girl or KMB and Luluco was really only watched because of trigger. Other than those shorts are usually the least watch or discussed shows of every season.

From what I saw Aho Girl was pretty popular on online websites and social media. It was also pretty well-discussed even in Japan. KMB was also mildly popular outside of Sup Forums. Luluco I can kind of give you that.

probably because it was barely animated

Where's Citrus

This.

>16. Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody - 151 votes

Woa there, shit taste nippon amirite?

Not on the list.

OH AIBOU

OFFU

Violet is more hyped in the west than in Japan to be honest. Will probably sell like shit but Netflix viewership might save it.

>Will probably sell like shit
KyoAni shows almost never sell poorly unless they're really bad (like PW). If it ends up being at least decent, VEG should sell at least decently.

>AOTC
>7.

Is Saiki even licensed? I'd much rather buy volumes than wait for scanlations every year

>KyoAni shows almost never sell poorly
>floptako market
>nichishit
>flop dragon
>phantom sales
>amagshit

More like they sell like shit more often than not

Phantom World was the only show you mentioned that genuinely flopped. Nichijou is more of a borderline case, while the rest were average sellers at worst (4k or so sales). Amagi actually sold pretty well.

If by decent you mean 3 to 4k sure, it'll probably sell around that much, which is underwhelming considering it's kyoani's most shilled show since they went independent.

Considering the hype and the apparent positive reception, I'm expecting at least 4k sales (most likely higher; 10k+ isn't out of the question), unless things go horribly wrong, when in which case underperformance is possible.

mystery/thriller is what the winter season needs not some fantasy bs

really strange?

T-they'll probably reach the other psychics right? We're nor ending before at least the gal is shown right?

Same.

>Saiki S2 finally airing
They kept quiet about that, seemed like it was TBA for ages

I don't think Citrus is really that popular in Japan.

>Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody - 151 votes

Is Saiki the strongest character in anime?

Whatchu disaproving of?
Most of the early parts aren't even offensive and lolis+Liza combo is cute.

What's happening?

>not fapbait
>not on list
What the hell japan?

What about Spring season?

He's pretty much a more varied Saitama, even personality-wise.

youtube.com/watch?v=2OyCZi2fMkE

what the fuck was that skit supposed to be?

My nigga Saiki getting the spotlight he deserves

Are Westerners the only people excited for VEG?

It's just having a slow start

As a loyal Kyoanite, i'm literally shaking

Everything above it is either a popular franchise or sequel.

Doesn't KyoAni sell their anime at their store? I'm sure most fans would rather buy it there, since that would mean KyoAni gets a much bigger cut from their sales. BDs sold at their store wouldn't show on any tracker lists, so I don't think they're accurate indicator of how much their shows sold and whether they flopped.

Nobody buys from there shop, that's why they closed it 2 years ago

Those stupid lists never reflect reality.

>nothing but garbage
Anime is dead.

>1. The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. - 848 votes
Based nips.

I wasn't disappointed this time.

How many layers of OFFU are you on?

>it’s unpopular in the west,
That's a damn mystery. Gintama is sometimes hard to understand with japanese references but got a lot of exposure and popularity despite that. Saiki humor should be transitional to get the point across but no one talks about it.

...

>We're nor ending before at least the gal is shown right?
They announced VAs for Aiura and even Touma

I dunno, like 2 or 3, aniki

>that's why they closed it 2 years ago
Really?

It's bait.

Legit glad for this one.
