What was her problem?
What was her problem?
Super high effort thread OP
>3x3-chan
a fucking leaf
she's staring into my fucking soul that's the problem. I feel cursed now
What's the appeal of this show? Why is it considered one of the best anime ever?
Nothing, when i watch it at young age it's just a generic slice of life anime that Sup Forums praise it for being old.
Do I make Anne or something else my first WMT?
Absolutely nothing, Anne is a good girl
I want to cum inside that carrot.
The book is far more beloved in Japan for a variety of reasons, so they made the best adaptation thus far released.
get in line
Beautiful animation and art, masterful direction, great characters and story. It's genuinely a masterpiece.
There is no bad starting point. Just pick one that looks interesting to you. Although, I personally feel the entries after the 70s aren't as strong for the most part.
How is their adaptation of Les Miserables, is it at least better than that awful Wolverine version?
> best adaptation thus far released
I doubt we'll ever see it topped. The last attempt released on netflix was a travesty.
Its kinda meh, I wouldn't recommend it. Too many episodes focus on Cosette having adventures with her merry group of orphans instead of following the story.
So it adapts straight from the second book and makes a fifty episode series out of the last two volumes? Feels weird but I'll watch it anyway.
I read that as "entries in the 70s" at first and thought I was seeing heresy again.
Not you, sorry
They took the time to make enough episodes to do it properly. Yeah, everyone's nostalgic for Megan Follows, but that was crammed into a short short miniseries where the actress is older than Anne should be for most of it. Anime allows her to grow at a natural rate that can't be matched by a live-action adaptation, unless they want to spend years going the Boyhood route.
Nearly every chapter from the book is portrayed in Akage no Anne, with the exception of the Haunted Wood scene, balanced out by throwing a completely unrelated (but entertaining) scene from Emily of New Moon in there instead with the apple.
