The Chinese Tiangong-1 space station is crashing down to Earth on April 1st. Colored in red are the potential areas to be hit.
The station is out of control (like most Chinese spacecraft) and its crash zone cannot yet be accurately predicted.
When the Soviet MIR station was decommissioned, a controlled burn brought it down in the pacific, and it still had a 3000km debris field. Tiangong-1 is larger, and there will not be a controlled burn. The debris field will be more than that.
