The bastardisation of Marxism.
From a Class struggle to a Gender struggle, a Racial struggle or a Religious struggle.
It's an umbrella term used by right winger and centrists to things they don't like that has a certain duality to it.

The origins of Marxism, Bolshevism, and Cultural Marxism lie not in atheism and secularism, but in the occult, or more specifically, Gnosticism and Jewish kabbalah.
Kabbalah states that man doesn't just emanate from (the Jewish) God, but man is God's collaborator through the process of tikkun olam (literally, "repairing the world"). Through holy acts, the Jews have the power to trigger the coming of the messiah. In 1666, a kabbalist named Sabbatai Zevi declared himself the Jewish messiah and declared the only way to finish the tikkun - and make the world "one" - was to engage in acts of depravity. His successor, Jacob Frank, took this doctrine to Europe and radicalized it even more. The Frankists engaged in pure satanism before seemingly disappearing. What is not mentioned is, the Sabbatean-Frankist kabbalist doctrine simply took a new face in Marxism.
Marx was NOT an atheist but a Sabbatean-Frankist satanist. We know this based on the evidence. The Bolsheviks were overwhelmingly Jewish Sabbateans; Lenin was Jewish and based his dialectics on kabbalah, Trotsky's Permanent Revolution - which he theorized with Alexander Parvus (who served as the financial advisor to the Young Turks, all Sabbateans) - is based entirely on Jewish messianism as the messiah is supposed to spread communism to the entire world. Cultural Marxism is just modern-day Sabbateanism, as we know the most influential members of the Frankfurt School (Walter Benjamin and Theodor Adorno) were self-admitted Sabbateans. Benjamin even became a Marxist only after learning kabbalah from Gershom Scholem.
Writers such as Eric Voegelin also noted Marxism's distinct Gnostic character.

It's the left that really chimeras all that together with contradictory ideas like race being a social construct yet simultaneously needing acknowledgement for the sake of privilege gouging.
The real point is what you call the mind virus doesn't actually matter, you can call it cultural Marxism, you can call it post modernism, you can call it whatever you want because to waste time trying to actually argue about Marxism in their own playing field is utterly pointless.
In the end it's all the same shit, it all ends up being criticizing everything towards nihilistic bedrock and then inserting the thesis/antithesis/synthesis retard logic to argue whatever you want as a viable system that absolutely has to and will happen.

the application of the marxist/hegelian dialectic to social concepts like race, gender, religion, class.
the goal is to divide society into a never ending series of victim/oppressor relationships.
thusly eliminating social bonds and making western societies more amicable to communist takeover.
the system was clarified and refined by the frankfurt school in the 1960s.

Did you get the idea that, according to Marx, superstucture, and this includes any religion, is the mere cultural product of a given society's economic structure? That a communist practice of thought is about building a social movement that supports the struggle of the workers against the capital, always keeping track of the latter's concrete strategy thereby abolishing the given moment? The notion of scientific thought vs. ideology which instead preserves the given moment with its hidden burden of oppression? Oh, but that's right, you read your load of incoherent fanatical ramblings, now you can even pretend you actually read Das Kapital or the Grundrisse from cover to cover. Give me a fucking break.

Where that picture someone posted a while back with all the circles explaining it?
It's basically the creation of as many subjugated groups (culturally) as possible to outnumber the group that has traditionally controlled the country. This is done culturally through the victim vs oppressor route, instead of worker vs owner route Marxism has traditionally taken.
In addition to that, the other half of its mission is to destroy and subvert a culture that prevents traditional Marxism (or whichever kind they want to instate) from working.
So, what we have here are two sides to the same coin. One destructive, the other subversive. The same end-goal in mind.
Jacob Lopez

The idea was that the economy had developed to the point of full contradiction, or near it, but the conditions for communism did not appear any closer. This was to the point that economic centralisation was even occurring against the communist current, and these factors led them to question whether or not the economy was the primary catalyst of historical movement.
A lot of their research was in the cultural realm (although this was not their focus, 'cultural marxism' is a made up term), for instance, Benjamin worked on a vast project exploring the city of Paris as conceived around the turn of the century. And much of their work discusses the death of culture due to mechanised production, which in turn destroyed its identity or essence.
The reality is that they discuss aspects of society and critique many of the same problems that the alt-right does, which is why they were a major influence on the New Right. Nowhere do they discuss anything relating to gender or racial struggle, the most common meme is a misinterpretation of the words 'tolerance' and 'minority'; what that article really discusses is a need to consider unpopular ideas so that free speech returns to a dialectic. It's actually a similar argument to what alt-righters would make.
The conspiracy theory of 'cultural marxism' was created by neocons to try and strengthen their political culture with a rehash of McCarthyism. They wanted to make communism seem like a threat again. But anyone can go back to see the original historical documents, "White Privilege: Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack" being the original document of intersectional theory, and it is connected to liberal feminism, not communism or neo-marxists.
Not of this is to say that the Frankfurt School was right, I think they were very wrong, just that the criticisms you see online have no relation at all to their actual theories. So you're doing yourself a disservice to create a straw man of them.
Jack Campbell
This is now a Sopranos thread
Brody Morales
I will give you a complete answer.
It's an evolution of classical Marxism from economic policies to cultural policies. Everyone by the 1930's realized what a joke Marxism was, what with all the murdering going on in the Soviet Union, so the leading academic Western Marxists shifted their views away from economics (removing private industry and pitting rich vs poor and total wealth redistribution), over to culture, and so now the focus is Majority vs Minority (instead of rich vs poor). All Majority groups in Western culture are considered the bourgeois and must be destroyed and subverted.
>White = majority = bad; solution is Diversity and Multiculturalism.
>Christian = majority = bad; solution is Islam. Heterosexuality = majority = bad; solution is pansexualism.
>Male = majority = bad; solution is gender quotas.
The list goes on, and the end goal is the complete destruction of classical western civilization as we know it. It is still Marxism, but the attack vector is aimed at culture instead of economics.
Luke Turner
what are some Marxist economic policies out of curiosity?
Adrian Watson
Marxism is an economic system that is impossible without a Borg style cultural homogeneity and group agreement on "ok nobody steal". This impossible situation can only be approached by a total and complete cultural reformation.

even if cultural marxism isn't perpetuated by social engineers, and is a self-inventing phenomenon by a sort of spenglerian process of civilizations than it still exists and it needs to be battered in the face as hard as possible to lessen the impact of its post-cyclical period, no?

Oh come on, you know it's true. Just look at communism in Africa. It's easy to shit out the exact same narrative but replace "class struggle" with "race struggle", such as with framing things as african proletariat vs white bourgeoisie. Hell, the current land grabs in Sout Africa by the black communist parties are perfectly mirroring the land grabs that took place against the hohol kulaks in 30s USSR.
