This made me sad

...

And this made me even more sad

This scene in particular made me sad.

If only Kircheis was here...

...

See you around space cowboy bebop

...

...

Imagine Reinhard running his supple fingers through these greasy worm-like red hair

AAY LMAO!

I hope they make oberstein a loli

A little girl with a big loyal dog - that would be cute

this made me sad.

This made me laugh.

Can you believe that he spilled the tomato juice AGAIN?

Imagine all of them getting into hell, instead of Valhalla, for their crimes. They'll be very surprised

...

Almost as funny as when Kircheis spilled red wine all over his shirt.

I've been watching Space Battleship Yamato. It's interesting how much of the aesthetic for LotGH Ishiguro had already developed when he was making that show. It feels like the same series at times.

Is recent Yamato any good? I can't make myself watch classic Yamato, animation looks too weird

I want a yaoi hands scene so badly.

The animation in the old one has beutaiful keyframing, though the framerate is low. The visual direction is really top-notch. The new one is shit, like all modern sci-fi.

I dropped it too, can't handle the Matsumoto's design of some characters.

>Given the huge difference in length
It's 26 episodes of the original series being remade as 24 episodes in the new series, I think.

Looks like a great scene from horror manga. The right dude is Junji Ito worthy design

They'll just cut all of glass shattering scenes

don’t say that, what if mittermeyer never sees them again?

There are telescopes in Valhalla. You can use them to look down into Hel.

What about it?

weren’t you sad?

Best anime. Fucking Sup Forums full of kids and retards who can only follow memes and fashion.

This and Ashita no Joe are the best things the media has to offer

What did they do to his hair?

The only positive is the large scale. The character arcs are half assed.

>Reinhard just repeatedly grabs his locket and slowly becomes weak and dull over time.
> Reuenthal is forced to die in an ad hoc rebellion instead of starting a real one like the narrator foreshadowed.
>Oberstein is a Machiavellian archetype. He's fun to watch but it's obviously stupid to create atrocities to prevent future ones.
>Yang Wen-li never has to make any difficult decisions because the rest of the Alliance is absolutely pathetic, he should obviously do whatever the hell he wants. Also, he's used to dump tons of the author's superfluous thoughts on politics.

>...
>Heaven seems so far away
>Come back to me someday
>...
>There's a place that's far away
>I'll meet you there one day
>...

Just realized skies of love is Reinhard talking to Kirchies, I didn't need to know this.

I haven't watched this yet, but I do plan to.
What terrifies me a little though, is the amount of episodes this series has.

But this made me laugh.

Yellow subs are best

Yellow subs are least accurate.

Has anyone made a compilation of every time a wine glass falls to the falls to the floor and breaks? That'd be about as ridiculous as

Was it implied that Reinhard had a crush on his best friend?

is anyone else pissed that one of the major factors in yang's death was that he took a sleeping pill?

fpbp

How, he couldn't hit shit with a gun. He would still get slotted by the (((terraist)))

his brain is his best weapon. if he wasn't so sleepy, he could have magicked a way out. or he could have realized that the terraist ships were shifty and refused to let them board.

At that point he was under command of the Iserlohn Republic´s president who authorized the boarding. he couldn't do jack shit

if he'd realized the danger and had warned romsky, there's a good chance that the boarding wouldn't have happened. even if it did, he could have taken some degree of countermeasure against it. it was a tough spot, but if he'd been thinking clearly, he could have been able to pull a miracle.

Blame Schönkopf in that case. The security detail he gave him was some POG adjuntant that had a death wish and got BTFO, the second in command of the Rosenritter who didn't so shit against space snackbars and a fucking bullet sponge which ended as expected.

Even the whole fucking crew of the ship is to blame. What the fuck where they doing during the attack?

it's fair to say that the crappy security was the main reason, but within that scenario, the sleeping pill was what screwed yang over. but yeah, schenkopp screwed up pretty badly, although the rosenritter guy did pretty okay. if the entire escort team were rosenritter, they might've been able to score a win on the terraists.

Yeah, big mistake not having armored up rosenritter as bodyguards. That being said, Yang was still fucked, since even if the ship wasn't boarded, the >F>P>A cruiser would get BTFO by the 2 (((terraist))) destroyers in front of it
