Pre fight, I expected him to be an utter asshole, like the old dude, but I really liked his demeanor during the fight. Dunno how he turns out afterwards, but he's got my respect at this point in time. I could even imagine him switching factions, since he got to see first hand the results the other way of treating tsukumogami can yield.
Next chapter is lewd with Sunao and the beginning of Kazuya's fight.
I hope that ascension keeps being something for kazuya, kanaka and sunao only but i feel like it's going to become another super saiyan thing.

Well, ascension isn't that hard of achieving, it's just that most exorcists aren't ever going to let their tools possess them.
Chakra points and all that. He's hitting his nodes.
I like him too, He really just comes across as the kind of guy who shacked up with the strongest faction as I don't know his relationship with his own Tsukumogami. And he's not mad at Sunao for pushing him, instead he's really happy.
He's probably a combat junkie and I also wouldn't be surprised if he jumps sides once this is all over.
