Every lead towards communism ends with the end of communism, because it simply doesn't work. You presuppose wealth accumulation is inherently immoral, therefore you need to execute or imprison the people who actually give your nation value. When you kill these people, the wealth and prosperity of your nation decreases, and leads to abject poverty. You also strip away moral intuitions that stood for over a millennia and can't possibly imagine why everything is MORE immoral and depraved that it was before.

A post-scarcity society is entirely possible in the next 500 years (and inevtiable within a thousand), assuming we can harness a relatively limitless power source. But Communism is an egalitarian pipedream. It's core premise is that everyone within it's society is equal, but nowhere in the world are there two equal human beings based upon their capabilities, fears and desires, and goals. When you create a society that forces people to be equal, there is no way to make the bottom feeders get to the top, but there definitely is a way to make the top elements of society become bottom feeders. If on an arbitrary scale there is the people at the bottom being represented as a 1 and the people at the top being represented as a 10, the only egalitarian utopia that can exist is by dragging all the 1's up to 2 (or maybe 3) and dragging everyone else down to that level. This is no way to create a society unless all you want is utter stagnation.
