Hypothetically, say the bastards succeed, and they repeal the 2nd amendment. What would follow? Would people actually try to fight to keep their guns? Will we just hear about the odd man out who tried to keep them?

there's other issues in play. I know people who own millions of dollars in firearms. Business owners. They would have to repeal the 4th and 5th amendment as well. Instant civil war probably.

This. People would definitely be revolting and would fight back at attempts to take their weapons. I imagine a lot of gun owners would join groups like Three Percenters, Oath Keepers, and other similar groups.
